I've heard it's not good to get scared when you're pregnant because of the reaction your body makes but I don't know how true it is or why.

The baby won't get scared or anything like that. If it's going to frighten YOU then it's not a great idea. When you're scared your heartbeat increases, you body releases adrenaline, your breathing becomes quicker and more shallow etc. None of these things are good for your baby particularly. If it's not going to bother you then go for it and have a good time!

I am 36 weeks too and I am definitely going to the haunted houses this weekend! lol. It's probably fine but if those crazy people in the haunted houses try to chase you out with a chain saw scream out your pregnant and they probably will leave you alone. lol.

yes i was always told it not good for pregnant women to watch anything scary, its not good for the child, but i don't know how true it is. i herd it have something to do with the heart or something like that. it comes just like when you read to them they come out to be very educated children. so everything you do right now affects your unborn. listen to very nice music, read to him or her very often especially educated books. i have a friend was afraid her child will come out ugly so she stayed away from anything that will scare her to death Lol, but you can do research on it. anyway congratulation, and have a safe pregnancy.

if you get over-anxious and scared you could go into labor - if things like that bother you then it doesn't matter and also make sure that no one is going to run into you or knock you down.

I would be surprised if they allow you in the haunted house. There are too many risks involved...I would not do it!!!
