he came to me last night saying that i do too much and i need to focus on being a kid. i don't think i do to much. i help out where i am neeed. my mom passed away last year and since then, i've picked up where she has left off since my dad works full time. i'm the oldest child and have quite a few younger siblings. i wake up a 6, help get the younger kids ready for school while my dad fixes breakfast. then i take them to the bus stop while my dad gets the baby's ready for day care. after he leaves with the kids, i do my 3 hours of homeschool work, after that i help the other older kids with theirs. then i just do whatever (mostly laundry, it's never ending pile), or play guitar, kake care of my cousin, get on the computer, until the kids get back from school. then i make sure their homework and chores get done, until it's time to make dinner. when it's time for my soccer, dance/theatre/singing, or band practice. i'm fine, but he's all "you're doing to much, i'll hire someone". help!!!

I had uprotected sex in August 5 days before my inactive pills started. In August when I got to the inactive pills I only bled lightly for 2 days. Now in September I am on the 5th day of the inactive pills and I bled lightly the first day and nothing but discharge after. I am not showing any signs of yeast infection, pregnancy or std, I just haven't had my regular period. I do normally get my period for about 5 days starting the second day of the inactive pills. I took 2 test one after I finished the inactive pills in August and another 4 days into the regular pills. Both were negative. I understand that you should wait 19 days after sex if you are on birth control pills before taking a pregnancy test (I just heard about this). I am scared of taking one now and it being negative and then what could be wrong? Stress? I am also scared of taking one and finding out that I am. Can the pills harm the baby if I am? I got alot on my mind, please asist with any information.

Ok I am currently 15 dpo. Missed my period yesterday. Yesterday my temp did drop just a lttle bt so I thought I was going to start. Well today my temp is back up high again. The second highest it has been all month.
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/index.php
This is a link to my chart so check it out. I am feeling good about this rise in temp today because lest month my temp dropped two days before I started.

I am feeling a little sick at times. Mainly after I eat. Not so much that I need to run to the bathroom, but kinda like my food isn't sitting well and it may come back up. I have tender breast and mainly the nipple. They definately feel fuller and maybe just a tad bigger. I know all of you are thinking, GO TAKE A TEST! But i already have, they have all been negative. since like 11 dpo, all negative. What do you guys think? Could it be and my body just isn't producing enough HCG? Should I call the doc or wait a few days and see it AF shows up? Thanks alot!

I go to this store constantly, and have a discount card with them, but now they employed a pregnant blond woman, and she is abominable.
She is heavily pregnant, seven or eight months, and she is constantly shouting and customers, splitting saliva and is abominably rude. If you ask her something, she bulges her eyes and started shouting and spitting. Even considering that she might be hormonal, it's not right.
What to do? One can't complaint about pregnant women, what if she needs money for the baby? But on the other hand, she is like shrieking fury at the tilt. She throws money and checks at you, as if trying to hit you.
I do not understand why her husband does not keep her closed at home to spare the public.

Hello all --

I believe I ovulated sometime last week. I got a positive OPK (using CLearBlue Easy Digital smiley face) on Wed., Sept. 5. We had sex the Sunday before that (Sept. 2), Wed., and also on Thurs., Sept. 6. I also experienced my usual ovulation dull pains/cramps on Thursday. I assume that Wed and Thurs would have been my two most fertile days.

My periods and ovulation are very regular, so no probs in that regard.

Here are my questions:

1. Do you think I have a good shot at getting pregnant this month?

2. Aren't ovulation pains a sign that the egg release is happening or imminent?

I'm looking for some hope here -- wondering if we did it right this month. I believe I'm currently 6-7 dpo. Thanks so much!

How do you handle a child who says her teacher is getting on to her when she is doing nothing wrong? It is nothing serious just little things, like talking and getting up and being made to sit on the naughty bench. This is our first year in school, I have been homescholing both my children until now. The child is in Kindergarden. I want to know if her teaher is being unfair but I also don't want my child to think that she can do something and the blame getting in trouble on her teacher...How best to handle this...I am at a loss

I consider whether I will be fatter after I am pregnancy. The books said that should find some food which is health and low c. Then, it can slim down easily if I am not seriously getting fat after I am pregnancy. So,the question is the same with titlle. Thanks.

My 18 month old daughter is difficult with her food and eats a lot of crappy stuff because when she refuses what I make her I worry that she won't eat at all and then give her something like a bread roll which is hardly nutritious! What am I supposed to be feeding her? I normally do cereal in the morning, yogurt for lunch and spaghetti or something for dinner but she eats a lot of biscuits and snack foods during the day which I don't think are healthy. What does your toddler eat during the course of a day?

should i call and try to get in today?
or wait until Monday at my next OB check up?
what would you do?
i woke up this morning and my urine was bright orange/red.

it isn't a UTI.
i had an ultrasound done on my kidneys and bladder in July.
left kidney slightly swollen, but said to wait to deliver baby until they look more into it unless symptoms appear.

only reason i ask is 'cos the office doesn't open for another hour to call a nurse.

To parents out there; We have just moved and my childrens' old school is at least 40 minutes away. I tried the first week to get them up and ready in time but it is really stressful for all of us.
In addition, there is a middle school and a primary school right across the street from us, literally. We went to see these schools yesterday and they seem ok. However, I feel like a terrible parent taking my kids away from all their friends.
Because I'm in academics, we have moved several times over the last 12 years. The longest my eldest daughter has stayed at a school is 3 years.
I wonder how this will affect my children, especially my eldest daughter. However, I just cannot imagine making the 45 minute trek every morning. Across the street would be so much easier and less stressful. What would you do?

I believe that in a few years time there are going to be major problems with kids who have been raised in daycare.
I HATE DAYCARE. It messes with kids. My childrens kindegarten teacher says she can spot a daycare kid - they are 'institutionalised (her words not mine)
It is not good for kids to spend so much time in daycare. If you have no choice eg single parent then I feel sorry for you. But I absolutely hate it when I see new 'mothers' out without their kids . I even know one woman who put her daughter into daycare so they would toilet train her - the epitome of laziness.
It saddens me so much to see a whole generation of children being raised by strangers who dont love them.If parents want their kids to be 'socialised' they should join a playgroup or something where they can attend with their kids.
They go to full time school at 5 - why cant 'mothers' give up 5 years of their life to raise their own kids?
Is there anyone on here who actually went to daycare and enjoyed their time?
