i was 18 and having my son was the best thing that ever happened to me! he's now three and i'm 22!
being 36 is nothing, it doesn't matter how old or how young you are so long as you love and care for your child!
my sister was 28 when she had her first, then her second aged 34, she's now 35 and still wants one more child - she's a great mother and does exactly the same amount of stuff i do with my son so 18 or 36, whatever age you are is by no means an issue!

I was 20 with my first, 26 with my second. A friend of mine has a brother that is 21 years younger than her so her mom was 20 with her first and 41 with the last (if you ask me that is a new mom after that long of a wait). Your age is great for having a child, more experiences to teach from. Congrats and have fun with it.
