I don't know if your doctor will give you clomid. But... considering your situation (you have conceived a child before, you are very young....) he/she may want to wait a bit and give your body a chance to do what it already knows how to do. Try to relax and take care of yourself... but check with your doc if that is the course you would like to take.

Most doctors will not provide it right away. They would like for you to try for a year without anything like that. They will also put you through a few months of tests (like having bloodwork done 3-5 times a month). They have to do this to determine just how much clomid you need. Just be careful if he does prescribe it, as it can cause hyperstimulation (over production of eggs) and it is very painful. Best of luck to you.

The only problem I would see is that any Gyn shouldn't just give someone clomid without first trying to figure out the problem. Since you know your problem--depo screwed up your system, any good gyn would try to regulate you first with either Provera--pill form, or birth control pills for a couple months. Then if that didn't work, induce menses with provera or prometrium and start a 5 day course of clomid.

You will have to discuss this with him or her, Although I think that they only prescribe this to people who have desperately been trying for years to get pregnant. Since you do have one child they might tell you to keep trying for a while before they give you something like this, as Clomid typically results in multiple births. You're young and could you hand twins or triplets?

You would actually just have to go to the dr. none of us can answer that for sure we don't know your whole medical history. Usually Dr.'s don't prescribe it until a year after you've been TTC if you have normal periods and ovulate. If you don't have normal periods or ovulate they will give it to you right away.

I don't see why he/she wouldn't prescribe it. Have a talk to your GP
