im 17 and a virgin but i want to do it so bad. im a quiet girl and no one expects me to do anything like "having sex" but i really want to for the simple fact that i want a baby.

I had an ultrasound yesterday and tech guessed we're having a girl based on what he saw. I didn't ask him to guess he just said, "Well, do you want to know what I think you're going to have?" Anyone else have gender predicted this early and had it been true?

I am going to take Plan B but am regularly taking birth control pills. Should I continue to take my birth control pills on top of the emergency contraception? Or should I start a new pack after I've completed the emergency contraception?

I work with a great group of people, but I am unsure as to how they will react when they find out. I don't want to have the baby, then come back having to explain. I'd rather do it before I give birth. I am 33 weeks along right now. How should I approach this?

i just found out 4 sure i was pregnant and i just had a sharp pain on my side. my sister says its just ur body trying to adjust, so any one have this before? another question... my doctor ( havnt seen her yet) i was talking to her on the phone said im already 5 weeks. and i thought they count from ur ovulation days where u would have concieved but i guess they count from the first day of ur last period... why? so even if i am 5 weeks according to the docter my baby is what 5 weeks says like what process its going through.. i need help this is my first child. so ne one would help me i would appriciate it thanks for all your help!! :)

What do you do about 12-year-old girls who wont get out of bed?

I adopted my 12-year-old sister a while ago and for the first few weeks after the adoption she was very well behaved, but latterly she has been laying in bed all day and refusing to get up or go to school since school started again.

She has also been playing me and my wife off against each other, saying that I told her she could do things that she knows she is not allowed to do, or saying that she didn’t get her pocket money off me and my wife giving her more (and the other way round)

She has also told my wife that she hates her and one time told her that she wishes she would die, which needless to say caused an argument, and every time my wife sits next to me Chloe squeezes herself between us and pushes us apart and also when we are out holds my hand so that my wife cant and when I let go or ask her to let go she throws a tantrum and says I don’t love her and I hate her, which is not the case (obviously or I wouldn’t have adopted her)

She does other things as well that I don’t really want to post on here but its all starting to get like everyday is a fight or a tantrum. I cant get her out of bed and she wont go to school so what do I do?

Im asking because my husband and i just had an argument about weather or not you can just get your tonsils out wihtout anyproblems wiht them. My thought was why would a dr put a child ina surgery is there was no reason for it. My husband claims that he and his brother both had them taken out when they were 2 because their mom wanted them out to prvent getting sick. Does this sound right? Anyone knowif drs will just do it to do it?

My son is 8 years old and has never spent any time away from home without his sister who is a year older. He has had trouble with bully's in his class and i am worried because i can't just ring and check if all is OK (there are no phones). Should I write a note of comfort? Or will that make him feel worse while away? He is so excited yet I am so worried.

I am packing for the hospital and starting to question every little thing....

1. I washed my daughter's clothes with dye-free, scent-free detergent. Is one washing enough? Or should they really be washed twice before she wears them?

2. Did anyone ever bring newborn size outfits to the hospital and then find out they didn't fit? I guess I should bring the next size up, too, just to be on the safe side?!

3. I just washed her Nuk orthodontic pacifiers (silicone) and now I see bubbles stuck inside the nipples! The nipples don't come off, for obvious reasons, so how do I get the suds out?!

4. Was there anything you didn't think to bring to the hospital that woud've been nice to have?

5. Was there anything you brought that you really didn't need?

Okay, I have 3 kids in school.
So far 2 days into the school year we have already paid more for supplies than for clothes, shoes, and bookbags!
This is the list for a 5th grader~
clorox wipes to clean desk
tissues
scissors
glue
pens-pencils
crayons or colored pencils
NO paper bag book covers, they have to be the book "socks"

The list goes on, and I am sure it's not over.
Does anyone else think this is rediculous?
Shouldnt the schools be supplying tissues? Where are the janitors that clean the desks?
I dont want my kids using hand gel, and clorox wipes constantly. If they get sick than they get sick! I didnt have all that crap when I was in school, and I survived.
I have spent $45 on 3 binders because the teacher wanted specific binders.
Why do these teachers have free reign on choosing school supplies?
Shouldnt the schools standardize by grade what is required?
Thankfully, we can barely afford this stuff, but what about the people who cant?

My daughter just started 5th grade on thursday. on friday she all ready made 2 kids cry and my daughter feel like crying. She made my daughter tremble!!! She threatend to give my daughter zeros just because she didn't hear her name when she called her up to show her her work. In the after noon when 1 person didn't follow directions they all had to right "I will learn how to follow directions" over and over again for an HOUR! And if any of them made any noise they would have to write for an extra ten minutes. When my daughter went into her binder to get a piece of loose leaf paper and closed the binder and it snapped she had to right an extra 10 mins. Once she even said _____ is staring at her paper, another 10 minutes". what should i do. Thins is crazy. Whe live in nj can u tell me if that is illegal. My daughter is also in the gifted and talented program so i dont know why talented kids should be treated that wy. HELP!
