is it true that if you keep thinking your pregnant you start developing symptoms such as sore breasts going to the bathroom more often, getting headaches?...because i keep worring that im pregnant but i got my period and i took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative..so i was wondering that maybe im feeling all these symptoms because i keep thinking im pregnant. could this be true? has anyone ever experienced it? please help me. thank you.

I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with my fisrt child. I had morning sickness that seems to have calmed down as of this past Tuesday. My clothes have been snug for a couple of weeks due to water weight gain but literally overnight, none of my clothes fit. I am talking about a 3 inch gap between buttons. I was not a small person to start with. The thing is that I have not gained any weight ( I have actually lost about 6 pounds). Is this normal?

i just found out im pregnant....i dont want to get an abortion..but then again i know i cant give my unborn child what she/he will need...im still with my babys father and he dosent want me to get an abortion....he said if anything we will end up giving it up for adoption....how do i go about finding a family for my child?...i would like to be able to chose the family myself....and also my baby will be mixed...im 100% puertorican and my babys father is irish/italian...do people feel different about adopting a mixed baby?

I've had 4 miscarriages within the past 18 months. Actively TTC during that time. Each time i became pregnant I would be miserable, not myself at all, I felt out of control of my body and constantly going to the bathroom to pee or vomit.

Is it worth it to go through every miserable moment to have a child of your own? and with these circumstances Is it still viable for me to give live birth to a child at all?

My husband wants 4-5 children but I'm starting to doubt if it's even possible. Should we give up and just adopt? We're both only children of only children, so it's important to keep our lineage going but I don't know what the alternatives are.
Is miscarrying this frequently normal for young couples? We're 22 and 25.

My elementary school age kids are active, love to read books, just play in the backyard, do art stuff, bikes, toys, watch TV.
Almost all their friends have the latest video games(incl WII..), my kids know of these, have played with them at playdates, but have never asked for them.

My husband and I are tempted to buy these when we see them at a good price or just plain "hey here's a hard to find game system, so let's buy it".

Our friends tell us how hard it is to keep kids away from them, and that if our kids are happy with books, toys, backyard play,then enjoy it till it lasts.

There's Xmas, and some birthdays coming up. We'd like to buy the WII. All kids but ours seem to have in our/their circle of friends.

Would you buy video games for your kid ? or wait till they ask and ask ? is it really hard to restrict how long they play?
our kids are reasonably well-behaved and very good at school.

My daughter is invited to another little girl's b'day party. They have been in class together and Sunday School together. They like each other but are not close friends. How much is the going rate for b'day cash? Is $10 too little? I feel $20 is too much and I wonder if $15 is too much. We seem to be just entering the stage where they prefer $$ to presents! We had the worse trouble with potty training. Finally we had to bribe her with candy to get her potty trained. Now we've been working on her wetting the bed at night and so far nothing we've done seems to work. We've even woke her up in the middle of the night and took her to the bathroom and the next morning her bed was still went. Does anyone else have any good ideas?

I've used Fertility Friend, but my trial VIP membership expired, and the basic membership doesn't do anything really. Is there a free online charting service that actually charts your cycle for you and predicts fertility and ovulation? They usually give you a basic service for free but make you pay to get the "premium" service, which is the only way to get real charting. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I am 5 weeks pregnant and I went to the ER 3 days ago with cramping and bleeding( nopt major bleeding just when I wiped and it was pink/red). they ran tests HCG was 337 and did an Ultrasound which they didn't see anything(they said it was too soon to be able to see anything anyway)

I went back in for another blood test yesterday(Friday) to get HCG levels and they were 387.
Doctor was supposed to call me and talk to me before they left the office but no call , now I will have to wait till monday.

another tidbit that may make a difference, on friday morning I started progesterone suppositories. could that have made the second HCG level go up, or do you think I may have not miscarried yet? I am no longer bleeding but still have occational cramps some sharp.




Anyone know why this would be? Or if I am still pregnant?

I have a 6 year old daughter, who is very very well behaved, I have only had to spank her maybe 10 times in her entire short life. When I was growing up, I am 26 now, if one of my neighbors caught me or any of the other kids in the neighborhood acting out we would get spanked by them, then they would march us home, tell our parents what we did, we would have to apologize to them and then our parents would let us have it! It was not just my family that was like this it was the WHOLE neighborhood, if I got in trouble at my house, my neighbors would lecture me as well. What ever happened to it takes a village? Today kids are so bad and disrespectful that I just want to walk up to them and let them have it! Then to make matters worse I want to yell at the parents for raising little snots. Is this normal?
