I would suggest names that do not rhyme or start with the same name. However, I think that if the names match in some way it is cute. Try naming them both after:
Constellations:
Andromeda, Carina, Ara, Caelum, Corona (Cori for short), Lacerta (Lacy), Norma, Vela, etc.
Flowers:
Rose, Lily, Daisy, Violet, Camillia, Jasmine, Blossom, etc.
States:
Georgia, Virginia, Dakota, Carolina, Montana, etc.
Or, you could give your daughters completely different names with matching names for the middle names (see above). Middle names with the same initial is good too, as are middle names that sound similar:

Sarah & Synthia (Cynthia)
Maggie & Morrie
Madison & Madelyn
Noel & Joel (Noelle & Joelle)
