I had an ultrasound yesterday and tech guessed we're having a girl based on what he saw. I didn't ask him to guess he just said, "Well, do you want to know what I think you're going to have?" Anyone else have gender predicted this early and had it been true?

They told me it was a girl when I was 14 weeks, pregnant, at the time I thought it was too early to tell, but technology these days is pretty amazing. My daughter is a beautiful 4 year old!

The tech said that we were having one of each at 12 weeks too. Guess what, I have 2 yr old girl/boy twins. I am also pregnant with another set, I didn't fing the genders out yet, I may wait until they are born.

I would definitly wait until you get your 20 week ultrasound before going out and buying gender related clothing... sometimes this early its to hard to tell.

I wouldn't trust it. I was told at 28 weeks I was having a boy and at 32 whoops thats a girl.

at your current stage in pregnancy, i wouldn't go out and buy all pink...they told my sis-n-law she was having a girl BUT when she had to go back in for another ultrasound and come to find out....IT'S A BOY! so...i'd wait to buy pink...and if you are like everyone else that's pregnant and you really want to start buying clothes and such...buy unisex.

you way too early to tell,
at that stage both the male and the female fetus has nearly identical genitals, the female has a num that later forms to make the clitoris, at this stage it is too early and they shouldnt have told you anything as you can not tell.

i would be cautious. Don't buy too much pink stuff until after the second scan (usually 20 weeks or so)

i was told boys are the oens they can tell early with and girls are farther during an ultrasound...

i have three wonder full children and each one we knew the sex by the ultrasound
