Who experienced any harm of cerclage - as I read, that there is a risk of that surgery, but my Dr.advised that it's necessary to close cervix to protect baby from infection (in the shower, etc), as my cervix is short and a baby is rather heavy for 24 weeks and there is a threat to deliver before time along the risk of infection. But I heared, that it's also a lot of risk to have cerclage surgury done! And I am afraid of both: doing that surgery and loosing my baby. Of course, I will do what the Dr advises, but I wish to know, if someone exprienced that case and have some more information for me about this?

This is my first cycle of clomid and was expecting the loss of cm which did happen during the first two weeks after cycle day 5-9 but now the third week I am always wet.I wear panty liners to keep dry but for the past week I am constantly secreting cm.It has no foul smell and the consistancy is of sugar and water you know it is watering but it still has a sticky feel to it.I know it's a little to much information but I want to know if this was expected while on clomid or should I keep my appointment to go to my doctor on Monday.

I am on the pill and sexually active with my boyfriend. He has a large penis and it has come in contact with my cervix. I know the pill increases the mucus around the cervix. Because his penis came in contact with it, am I more likely to be or become pregnant in the future? If he has a large penis, is pregnancy more likely?

Did any of you experience very strong contractions after being examined? This was the first time that I had contractions that strong. They came and went for about an hour and half and then just stopped. They have been very few and far between since yesterday. But I never have had such strong pains after my exam! Is that normal? BTW, 38 weeks 1.5 centimeters dilated, 50% effaced. Thanks.

I am 8 weeks pregnant. 2 days ago I woke went to the bathroom and when I wiped I saw blood, fresh red bood. But after that nothing and had no signs of cramping or pain. I spoke to my doctor and she said that as long as I am not in any pain I should be okay and that my sonogram that I had last week showed a fetal pull and looked okay. The only thing they could not see was the heartbeat but I am still early so that is okay too. So, no every so often I see brown, old blood when I wipe not red except for that one time. Please tell me someone else has experienced this...I have tried for 3 years to get pregnanat again and I never had this happen the 1st time.

I have a low sperm count. My regular doctor suggested the IUI. What do we need to do to get this done? What kind of doctor do we go to? Do we go together? How is it all done? How much does it cost? Does it work????

everywhere i go with my family people give me dirty looks. My husband and i eloped when i was 14 and he was 17 (yes, it was legal in Massachusetts). Now he's a nurse and supports me and our 4 (5 come spring)children. I will never regret the decision i made early on in life. but i hate it when people judge me because of my age. We own our house, are not in debt, and the kids (ages 3, twin 2, and 1) are happy and well behaved. we regulary attend church and i have graduated high school, my husband has gone to college and is a RN. i love my life except for the fact that people judge us because we are so young, they automatically assume that we're not married, and are just living together with 4 "mistakes". each of our kids were planned. how can i get this across to them?

My 16 month old has a runny nose and nothing he takes will clear it up. IT starts out clear and then gets yellow/green. I have literally tried everything I can think of. Antibiotics, several different antihistamines. Any suggestions?

latley there is a clearish almost goopy substance after I pee. (I know I get it like every month) but what is it? I took a preg. test yesterday and it was neg. and I there was some blood when I wiped. But nothing more today. My period isnt suppose to start till tuesday/wednesday (if i get it, but i hope i dont) what could all this mean? did maybe i test too early? could i be preggo? I have had heart burn the last week, sore breast, backache and tired all the time... I cant play the waiting game. and i do try not to worry or stress, because i know thats bad and can throw my body off.. Any advice would be great! thanks! ;)

I had 4 hours of English language per week, yet plenty of people my age (espedcially men) are terrible at language and deliberately mis-spell. We use our language ion everything we do almost, so there is no need to over-do it.

i think there may have been a tidbit of information i picked up somewhere along the way that said for some reason, babies arent supposed to eat berries (whether cut up or purreed) until 12 months. is this true? if so, why not? and is it all berries or just some?

A really nice gift. He has every car and truck you can think of. He has a bike, a power wheels, a scooter, a work bench (although he's already outgrowing it) a basketball goal, a ball pit/jump-o-lene, a train table,sandbox, swing set, see-saw....

I want to paint just the trim in the to be baby's room. I have heard that it is okay to do so as long as you have the room well ventilated. Windows open, fans on etc.

I might need to do a little touch up on the walls - but only in a few spots.

Do you think this amount of painting plus the precautions I am taking is safe?

I was with him for a year and a half and twords the end he became abusive, but i didn't get out of the relationship fast enough and ended up finding out i was pregnant by him the day I was ending it with him. I'm 6 months now and I'm confused on if i should let him see my daughter when she is born or not. He has told me he has changed but when i talk to him its hard to belive. I don't know if its just me not likeing him, of if he really hasn't changed. He has also told people that she isn't his and that im a whore. But when he talks to me he says he knows the baby is his and that he wants to see her. I really don't know what to do and i don't want to make the wrong decision when it comes to my daughter.

Me and my girlfriend had sex last saturday just at the end of her period (it started the sunday before). Her normal cycle is 22-24 days or so. THe condom broke that day, but 25 hours later she took the morning after pill. Yesterday morning she noticed spotting, its normal color and it seemed to get heavier as the day went and is continuing this morning. Could this be inplantation bleeding or did the pills just mess up her cycle?

I know with my last two pregnancies I had gained weight by 8 weeks. I also know if you have really bad morning sickness it is normal to lose weight. But, if that is not going on, should you have gained a pound or two by 8 weeks? I haven't gained any weight so far at all. Things are changing, some days it even looks like my tummy is bigger due to bloating but I am not gaining anything. Has anyone else not gained weight at this point?
