A short period of time wont hurt. I would have them in a t-shirt and hat to protect from the sun along with age appropriate sun screen. Just watch them and make sure s/he doesn't get too cold or hot and dehydrated. I think 3 months is too young for one of those floaty things you sit in so you may just want to hold him of her. I would watch getting water in their mouth, eyes, and ears too. Also DO NOT leave the baby unattended even if it's just for a sec anything can happen. Have your eyes on the child at all times.

My friend has had her little girl in the pool since she was 2 months. Now she is 2 years old and in love with the water. Our baby will be 4 month when we go to the beach I plan on holding him in the pool for a little while and putting his feet in the ocean.

The disposable swim diapers won't fit mos babies at this age, but Target has some cute reusable ones in the Baby department. I would put a swim diaper on, a hat, a t-shirt and sunblock if it's an outdoor pool. We took our baby in the pool at almost five months old and she loved it. You should definently hold your baby and I would limit it to 20 minutes at a time so that he or she doesn't get too cold. We used to just take her in the shower with us afterwards and rinse her off really good.

That depends upon you and the child. Most agree that a healthy baby can be exposed to water with no problem. Be aware of potential allergies. Pay attention to temperatures since babies don't regulate body temps as well as older humans. Try to know the babies bathroom habits to reduce the risk of turning the pool into a toilet. Try to have fun. If your baby is obviously not having fun, then be ready to leave the pool. Further pay close attention to sun exposure. Sun burn can kill in extreme cases. Good luck!

If you have a pool at home yes. Simply because you are the one maintaing the pool. Now a public pool, I personally would not put my 3mo old in one but if you child is up-to-date on their immunizations then all should be well. Dont forget to put a hat on the baby and some sunscreen!

If the baby is healthy and the pool water is clean and it isn't too cold and you are holding the baby there should be no problem.
Have fun with your baby!

Yes, remember to be careful in the water and protect the child from sun with infant sunblock and reasonableness. But have fun.

Sure. :) Buy some Little Swimmers and enjoy. Most babies love the water. Just make sure to keep the little one from becoming too chilled.

Definetly NO. The two do not mix. All it takes is for the phone to ring or for you to be distracted for a few seconds and the baby is at the bottom of the pool. Play it safe and keep it away from water at all times.
