Apply for medicaid through your local division of health and human services if you don't qualify they may be able to refer you to an OB that uses your income on a sliding scale fee basis for bills/payments. Set up a payment plan with the doctor and hospital before the baby is born so that you are not overwhelmed with large bills shortly after the baby arrives.

Good luck!

Many hospitals have a financial aid program. Just get together with a financial advisor at the hospital and they will explain all your options, give you the forms to fill out, and tell you what paperwork you need to bring in. It is really not hard at all. So don't stress. They will evaluate how much you can pay and when. They will either take away all of the costs or most if you can't afford it. They write you off as a charity case. I speak from experience. Good luck!

Look to your state for help. My cousin got pregnant without any insurance. She went to the hospital when she found out she was pregnant and talked with an insurance specialist in the building who helped her find assistance.

You can see if you qualify for a medical card and if you don't you will just have to make payments. Even if you only pay what you can afford to each month they cant do anything about it, it may take many years to pay it off this way but at least you will have a beautiful baby to show for it!

Save up your pennies. It's not too late to get insurance. Pregnancy is not a preexisting condition as far as insurance companies are concerned, so get yourself to an insurance agent today and get coverage.

You can get on medicaid insurance. Or if worse comes to worse you walk into the ER, have a baby, and make payments after. As long as you send them 5 bucks a month they cant do diddly about it.
