I am 8 weeks pregnant. 2 days ago I woke went to the bathroom and when I wiped I saw blood, fresh red bood. But after that nothing and had no signs of cramping or pain. I spoke to my doctor and she said that as long as I am not in any pain I should be okay and that my sonogram that I had last week showed a fetal pull and looked okay. The only thing they could not see was the heartbeat but I am still early so that is okay too. So, no every so often I see brown, old blood when I wipe not red except for that one time. Please tell me someone else has experienced this...I have tried for 3 years to get pregnanat again and I never had this happen the 1st time.

ive heard of this happening to a lot of women. I think its pretty common.

Spotting is fine, bleeding and filling pads like a period is not. Cramps are fine, aching endless stabbing pains are not.

Not seeing a heart beat just means you're possibly less pregnant than you though. Its common to not see anything before 6-7 weeks.

It is common but I would continue to keep an eye on it and if you see blood you should let your doctor know. I was a coupla months pregnant and I had a massive amount of blood I was nervous and I went straight to the hospital. Come to find out my body was rejecting the baby. All turned out well cause I now have a beautiful 5 year old daughter. Just keep your doctor updated.

i'm almost 6 months pregnant, and i experienced the same symptoms when i was between 6 and 10 weeks. i know its scary...but your body is adjusting to your pregnancy. i definitely reccomend relaxing as much as you can, try to sleep more than you normally do, exercise lightly, like a walk or something, and make sure you still eat well. i find that drinking a lot of water, especially in this heat, helps.

obviously monitor the amount of blood you are passing, my doctor told me that if its more blood than you would pass during a normal day on a normal menstrual cycle, to come in and see him. so keep that in mind and try to relax!
