I have not had a period since May 15th. I feel like I am pregnant. My boobs are getting the blue lines on them and I feel as if I am gaining weight. I had some morning sickness but not as bad as my first son. Do you think its possible that I am pregnant? Will the pt still detect hcg this far along?

My son is 28 months and has no issue going poo poo on the potty. He would tell me too when he needed to pee pee. This was only for a few days, then company showed up unexpectedly one night with kids, and since then he will never tell me when he has to pee. He will hold it in for as long as he can then go. He use to tell me wet when he did, but now he even stopped that. I don't know if my telling him we don't pee pee in your underwear scared him. What do I say? I give lots of praise, treats, and have tried fruit loops, naming other people who do it, big boy, going naked, going in just cloth training pants, using toilet, using potty chair, a wetting doll. He still has no issues telling me he has to poop and running to the toilet. But he now just holds his pee for 3 to 4 hours then tries to hide when he does pee. I really do not think that I've made peeing sound bad. But I just can't figure out what happened, and why he won't even try now. Please help me. I don't want to give up.

my husband wants to put are 6 month old in front of the tv every morning and i have tried telling him that a 6 month old does not need to be watching tv at this age. infact i told him that no baby or kid should be in front of the tv until they are near there 2nd birthday.

he thinks because they have shows like arthur and barney and all other shows for children that are 6 month old can watch them.

iv tried to tell him that this is not good fro his development but he just got mad at me and walked out of the room. how can i tell him that tv is not for babies.

My daughter is a year old and sometimes she leaks in her diaper. (which I understand is usual) But today her urine smelled like amonia! it was so bad it was like cat liter was dumped on her. Why would it smell like that? She went to bed at 7:45 and woke up today at 7a.m. It just smelled so bad today. I give her 8oz of milk when she wakes up. 3 juice or water cups 6oz each and milk at all her meals and then 8oz of milk at bed time again. (i think i give her enough through out the day.) Could this be an infection. has this happend to anyone before?

I am a 39 year old father of, well, alot, but three of my children in particular, I am very concerned about. I am about to fight for custody of my three and a half year old daughter and 1 year old twins-a boy and a girl. I have been trying to get Child Protective Services involved, but these people are BLINDED by my children's mother's lies and deception. She is physically abusive to my 3.5 year old, and negligent to all my kids. My 3.5 year old was left alone in a room with the twins and this woman's other daughter, and she marked up the tv COMPLETELY-meaning her mother was doing SOMETHING. What-I can only guess. She BEAT my daughter, leaving welts across her shoulder. My baby is petite. This babies' mother-not so much. A few days later is when my kids' mother walked in on my daughter being raped by her nephew. Instead of snatching the boy off, her dumb behind ran downstairs to get her sister, after shutting the door behind her! Who in their right mind...? Anyway, she was crying to me

My son will be 3 on October 11th. He is 42+ inches tall (to my waist) and weighs in at about 50 or so pounds. He's growing fast and furious (right now he's chunking up, so he'll be growing in the height department really soon), and I have no idea if his height to weight ratio is normal for his age. I know he's big for a 2 year old, but he's not unhealthy. Hell, he can be healthier then most toddlers. He loves playing and exercising and eats healthy meals. Any ideas on who and what I could ask about his height and weight? (He's bigger than 5 and 6 year olds).

I used a hand held Avent pump for my son, but seeings as I'll have a 3 year old as well as a newborn I thought I'd look in to an electric pump. They are very expensive, so I wondered about hiring services. Has anyone had an experience with this to give me some direction?

My daughter is a week off her 3rd birthday, but lately she's beginning to make me wonder...For about 6 months she's been seeing things that I can't, talking to 'someone', and her intelligence has soared (her day care providers say she needs more as they can't keep up - she's more on par with a 4-5 yer old). Over the last 6 weeks she's been having huge night terrors and has become extra loving (and me and her are really loving already). Yesterday I met her father at the train station as she is going for a week's visitation (regular thing). He called me from the train quite concerned as she stated (to me on the 'phone too) that now she is with her Daddy I am going to die on the rail tracks in the countryside. She doesn't understand yet hat railsways are dangerous, she hasn't learnt anything about this at daycare and she doesn't know about death either. I'm really worried! Any ideas?

Ok well I am 14 and would like to start babysitting. I don't necessarily even want to be payed for it (that's not weird, right?) I just like to spend time with kids and think it would be fun. So parents is 14 too young? What do you look for in a babysitter? Where do you find your babysitters? And how do I get started? Thanks so much.
