ok so i was told on tuesday that my preg blood test was negative so i wasnt pregnant, however i am still having symptoms of pregnancy (stomach cramps, sickness, tiredness) could it be that my hcg level was not high enough to detect ( if i was preg i would have been 6 weeks when i had the blood taken, however i know ppl who have been 4 month preg b4 they got a positive result) has anyone had same thing happen to them.

i dont think it has to do with the Doctor, i think you need to WAIT longer. Time is the only way you will get a different result. Wait 2 weeks and test again.

Have to say if you have had a blood test and that said you were not pregnant (i know these are the most accurate way of detecting pregnancy) and this said you were not pregnant you are most likely not pregnant they use blood tests in hospital to detect hormone levels if you say you are six weeks it should have detected the hormone level by now, you could well see another doctor but they will in fact to the same test on you

The blood tests which detect HCG levels are extremely accurate and are a lot more accurate than an ordinary pregnancy test.
I wouldn't bother asking for a 2nd opinion as if the test was negative you are not pregnant.
I think the symptoms you are having are probably your mind playing tricks on you as you are wishing you were pregnant.

With my second baby i knew i was pregnant. Went to the doctors and they took a urine sample and it came back negative. I knew it was wrong so went to the chemist and bought a home testing kit took it and it was positive. When i phoned the doctors and explained they said that home tests were more accurate as they were designed to pick up the hormone from quite early on. Try taking a home test and see what that says and take it from there.

I think the best thing 2 do is 2 get a 2 opinion from the doc.

you could get a second opinion if you wish, however, I have heard that the HCG hormone takes a while to kick in, it depends on the woman, that is why there are women out there that do not know that they are with child.
Advise this other doctor of when the last period was

my pregnancy test came back negative until I was 8 weeks. Then it came back positive. I would give it a couple more weeks and try an at home test. If it comes out negative odds are your not.

u could get a 2nd opinion but it could just be on in ur head that u might be pregnant. Blood tests are pretty accurate

Any time you are in doubt about anything you should get a second opinion. The symptoms you list soudn liek somethign other than a pregnancy however. But yes, if in doubt....

i would go and buy a home test a friend of my came back negative from a blood test and she was pregnant
