is it true that they cant run and play like normal kids? will it like listening to TV while i watch my shows? i dont know what to do take these leftovers or find a better kid?

I had my baby last week and all he does is sleep. And I'm talking at least 15-19 hours a day. Does anyone else's baby do/done this? He was born at 37.5 weeks so perhaps its because he was a little premature. I could use the help from any mother out there who's baby has slept like this or still does. When did your child start to stay awake more? Thanks so much!

my last period was on july 14 -18 usally dont have regular periods sumtimes more than 28 days .. i had sex around the july 27 and around aug. 3(he came in me) since those days my nipples been hurting and the ring area had been getting bigger my stomach had been a little bit hard and hardly getting sharp pains in my lower area of the stomach i think i am but i dont want to get my bf and my hopes up wut do you guys think ???

This is my second child--frankly, I can't remember how I felt the few weeks leading up to labor. I have been really tired for the past 4 days, have had breast pain, and have had about 4-5 bowel movements a day (nice info, right)...just wondered if anyone else had these symptoms leading up to deliver and how before you delivered did you have these symptoms?

i had a blighted ovum and started miscarrying on July 17 and had a d & c a week later ,i stopped bleeding after 1 week, my bleeding was never heavy . now it has been 3 weeks since my d & c and for the past 3 weeks i have been having occasional sharp pains and cramps in my uterus and breast and this morning i woke up to a extremely sore lower back and i have been having headaches and feeling dizzy the thing is this feels similar to when i was just pregnant so i am wondering if i could be pregnant again even though a took a pregnancy test earlier which was negative or is this a normal way to feel after a miscarriage

I'm a first time mommy, and we don't want to end up with a house full of stuff that we don't really use. (Like a wipe warmer...!) My boyfriend and I have been togheter for 2 years and I'm happy to be with him. I'm now 7 1/2 weeks preg. And he is really excited witch made me happy too. I'm 20 years old, and I always wanted to wait until being married to have kids, but his excitment got to me and well I just started to like the idea we will be a family. We also have been very close lately, we have even started to buy stuff for the apartment we were planning on living togheter!

But, last night I caught him chatting on the phone, on chatlines. (you know the ones they annoucce on tv ads like Lavaline, ect.) While I was asleep. Now, this is not the first time that happends, even though he denies EVER chatting he has done this before. I'm REALLY hurt!

Now the hard question is, Should I keep my baby? I had thought about it several times before and I always said that if I become preg. before I get married I would abort. Specially if I dont' have a partner. Or, Should I forgive him one more time??

our baby is due this december and all we have is a pickup truck. its the kind that has the bench seat. theres no back seat but there is a seatbelt in the middle. is it safe for the baby to ride in the truck? is it safer for her to ride in the middle or closest to the door?

My son weighs 17 lbs, 2 ounces and he is barely 4 months old. He is formula fed. Should I worry since the doctor told me that the average 1 year old weighs 20 lbs??

My son is almost 26 inches long and weighed 9.9 lbs at birth..I am assuming that he is just a bigger than average baby.

So I was totally stuck on naming my little boy Mason Oliver when he was born, but I wanted to keep it a surprise for everyone. The my best friend buoght a gorgeous great dane puppy and named him Mason...so now obviously I have to change the name...any suggestions? I still want oliver to be the middle name.

I am a 19 year old soon to be college boy. I have a 19 year old girl friend. I have never had sex. I also do not ever plan to have sex, because I don't want to. It isn't what makes me happy. I don't feel I need it, nor I don't want to have children. I am happy though because I have a lot of money.

Do you believe this is normal? Does me, a 19 year old boy need sex? (I don't).

10 days after ovulation i had a temperature drop for 2 days but it's back up again for 2 days. my period is due in 2 days. could i still be pregnant with the 2 days of a temperature drop?

we are ttc baby #1 and I'm due for my period tomorrow. I am way too anxious to wait for a few days to see if my period comes or not. Is it okay to test in the afternoon or should I wait until the morning. I know that hcg levels are higher in the morning.

Hi all. I had a miscarraige on June 21. I did not have a D & C. Bleeding stopped and HCG levels fianlly returned to normal on about July 18th. Had some very light spotting yesterday and wondered if that could have been implantation bleeding?? Is it too soon to test?
