My sister just gave birth to her first baby (daughter) on Saturday night via a cesarean section. She was told by the doctors almost 12 hours later that the baby sustained a fracture in her leg and she was rushed to the childrens hosp immediately where they are doing additional testing for any signs of brittle bone disease. Needless to say my sister's a wreck and no one is giving us a straight answer as to how this happened. I somewhat understand if she gave birth naturally but a c-section? Has this ever happened to anyone else??

Can anyone tell me how to tell this to her in an acceptable manner? She is 4 years old

I have watched a programme just now, about breasefeeding.
Don't get me wrong i am 100% for breastfeeding as i fed all four of my children, but you have to know when to stop!!!
if you can do it for about 6 months, you're a star, but to go on till the age of 8, to me thats just creepy......

She has Milk in the morning and at night - not too much just 5 oz of milk and some water to dilute it a bit. We brush our teeth after morning bottle and before we go to bed. The rest of the day she either drinks water out of a sports bottle or a beaker with a flip spout. She only drinks water (mostly) or Milk (am and pm). I've tried giving her milk in a cup and she won't drink it so I'd rather carry on giving her milk in a bottle. At least I know she's getting her calcium. Is this really bad - her teeth are growing fine - nice and straight. Should I be forcing her to give up the bottles or is it acceptable to let her carry on for a while longer?

Is it common to ovulate early after first stopping the pill ? I heard that sometimes the body reacts to stopping the pill by producing an egg earlier than normal. Has anyone else heard of this ?
