He stepped on my belly. He weighs about 28 to 30 pounds and he stepped on my stomach on our bed. I am between 8 and 9 weeks pregnant. Am I ok or should I be worried?

My husband was wrestling with him and I was sitting on the bed. One second he was wrestling with daddy the next he was stepping on me to get over me. For those that keep asking me why I didn't stop him, it was an honest mistake. I didn't let him step on me.

Hi:) Baby's pretty well cushioned in there and a general rule is the injury has to be bad enough to send you to the hospital for there to be possibly be a problem with baby.Of course if you experience any bleeding call your Dr but I doubt he hurt anything.Congrats btw:)

If he just stepped and not jumped or bounced on your belly, I would think that everything is fine. However a call into your doctor wouldn't hurt, and it'll ease your mind.

Please don't worry. You are going to get bumped, jumped on, fall down, etc when you are pregnant. The baby is well protected. Of course for your own comfort you should try to limit it, but in a healthy pregnancy there is nothing to worry about.

You need to make an appt. with your doctor. But more than likely they wont do anything for you, if you start bleeding you need to go to the ER.
