is it strange that im 14 and want kids... people tell me at school that ide make a great mother some day adn i was pratically my cousins twin girls mother. and im always watching theshows on ( TLC) like bringing home baby and stuff...

I have a 1month old little girl, she was born on july 6,2007 and weighed 7lbs. 6oz. at birth....she is now 10lbs. 12oz. she was starving 2 nights ago, drinking a 4 ounce bottle every 2-2 1/2 hours so i got a baby food bottle feeder thing and put stage 1 bananas in it and gave it to her. she loved it and ate it and it did nothing to her but satisfy her. i only give it to her 1 morning and 1 time at night........is this bad? or what?

My period ended on The 24th and on the 25th and 27th I had protected sex, I have been getting vaginal discharge and my areola s did get darker! Bth times i had intercourse nothing went wrong with the condombut im still really worried!. Am I pregnant? What do you guys think ?

Ok i really need some help, see i had unprotected sex a week ago (i know, i know.. stupid), well i took the morning after pill 63 hours after sex, and i got my period a few days later. The odd thing is was that i had my period a week before i had the second one. I hope this is making sense, well i still have my second period.. it was heavy for a couple days but now it's weird brown spotting that isn't blood and it wont go away, i've had the spotting now for three days could i be pregnant??

I have 2 children a 10 year old and a 3 year old, and I want 2 more. I just turned 28 and I am wondering how long i should wait. I want to switch my career, and to do that I need to go back to school for a couple years, and I would like to move into a bigger house.
What would you do, have another baby while i go to school (i will be working at the same time)?
forget about any more kids?
wait until finish school and have my next child at 31

If I have proof that I was hired and than was asked if I was pregnant and than was told that I did not have the job anymore becasue I said yes can I sue? I have emails as proof. However, this wasn't a 'real' job but a full day time nanny position with a family. But isn't there laws against that too? Her reason for not wanting me was because I told her I would need a week off to give birth and recover even though I told her I have a replacement sitter and she could meet that person. I know I am going to look into this. Thank you.

I know it may seem rediculous but what is ridiculous is that I have been looking for work since the end of May and I know the only reason I get turned down is because I'm pregnant. How do they expect me to support myself and my baby? And so many people get mad that so many people get welfare and various other forms of government assitance but see we I don't want that I just want a JOB! But it seems like I will have to ask for government assistance.

My baby sleeps most of the day and she sleeps great. Only waking up every few hours to eat. I try to keep her awake in the daytime more but it is impossible to keep her awake. When she is ready to sleep, she is out. No matter if she is in the upright position or if she is laying down or what ever.

At night around 12:30 she wakes up and that seems to be one of her most active times. I feed her but she is usually wide awake and will not go back to sleep until 3:00-4:00 am. Even then she is back up at 6:00am. It is terrible for my husband and I because we are so tired.

My baby goes back to sleep at around 8:00-9:00am and that is when she begins her daily sleeping.

She just can not seem to get her days and nights fixed....I try sleeping in the day while she is napping but in all reality that is not always possible. I have 3 other children to take care of as well. I never had this type of problem with the other children. They woke up in the middle of the night but not like this. HELP!

WE would like to name our second daughter Abigail ( a Fathers Joy)
Her middle name is up in the air. I really wanted Morgan because my grandfather recently passed away and that was his name but I do not think Abigail Morgan sounds good. Any other suggestions or thoughts?

Okay, so there is nothing wrong with being proud of your toddler. But, what would you do you do if you have a fellow "Mom" friend that is ALWAYS bragging about her child in a manner that is trying to put your child down?

I mean, my friend is really competitive about her child. She will have her child recite things (abc's, number's, etc., more like tricks than anything) and will say, "can SHE do that?" Or she'll ask my daughter directly, "can YOU count to 20?" . . . and then she will infer that I am not teaching her right . . . She just turned 2 a week ago for cripes sakes! I didn't know I was coming over for a spelling bee!

I have 2 jobs 2 kids and plenty else to take care of, I don't have time to sit there and help my toddler memorize stuff. At the same time, it really IRKS me that she is trying to make me or my child seem insufficient.

It just seems like some moms are SO competitive and judgmental.

What would you do?

He's 43 & a single parent. He has 4 kids. 2 are grown & the others are rebellious & ruthless teens. His wife died a few years ago because she was very ill. He was born & raised in church & carried his church morals through with his children. His oldest daughter is very successful & is working on her Master's degree, the 2nd child is transgendered, the 15-yr. old son & 13-yr. old daughter are sexually active & do drugs. The daughter was pregnant & lost her baby. They talk back to him & try to fight him, & no type of discipline works. He cries every night because he feels like he's not doing a good enough job as a father. The more he punishes him, the more they rebel, & they're very sneaky. He feels that he looks bad in the church because of what his kids do.

He asked me to post this problem on here for advice.

Anyways. What do you (an atheist parent) tell your child, when they ask what happens when they die? Obviously you are not going to say heaven but you cant tell a 3 year old that they are done and rotting in the ground.
