Okay I should have worded it differently. I have a history of MIGRAINE headaches and if you have ever had one than you wouldnt say "Just deal with it" So I guess my questions needs to be.

What should I take (if anything) for migraine headaches during pregnancy. Is anything safe?

Headaches are very common in pregnancy. This is what my doc said about headache. it can be relieved with Extra Strength Tylenol that is all nothing else. You may also have Nausea and Vomiting, Heart Burn, Diarrhea, Constipation, Hemorrhoids, Lightheadedness and Dizziness, Colds and Congestion, Sore Throat, Fever and Discomfort, Backache, Headaches, Swelling, Nosebleeds, Spotting, Lower Abdominal and Pelvic Discomfort, Palpitations, Shortness Of Breath, Sleep Disturbances, Vaginal Discharge and Yeast Infections. And if you need to know what to take or what to do for them just send me a message and i will help you as much as i can. I'm 12 weeks so trust me you have a lot comming. It doesn't get bad untill the 8th or 9th week.

Definitely drink more water. I had bad headaches during my 2nd trimester (which I'm still in), and my midwife said I should be drinking 2-3 liters of liquids every day. I struggled at first just to drink a liter of water. It seems like a lot, but my headaches have gone away (unless I sleep for way too long). If you're anything like me, you won't want to take medicine during your first trimester just to be on the safe side, but Tylenol really would be okay. If it's sinus related, alternate hot and cold on your forehead while relaxing. If it's a tension headache, try a cold compress on your forehead while relaxing. Practice better posture, and do neck exercises (illustrated in What to Expect When Expecting) to help relieve stress. Most of all though, drink lots of water. AND, if nothing else has helped, it won't kill your baby if you have a caffeinated soft drink. Just don't drink lots of them. Hope you feel better soon!

Paracetamol is deemed to be safe in small amounts bu you are better off trying not to take anything. Try going out in the fresh air, take some exercise, drink plenty of water, have a nap. Good luck - only another 35 weeks to go!!!

an ice pack or tylenol. Also lay down in a quiet room. If the headache is severe or doesn't go away call your doc.

Tylenol. Extra strength is fine, just take 1 or two depending on the severity.

Take tylenol, and try a hot bath. I had really bad headaches as well. Don't take motrin. For a list of safe drugs go to www.safefetus.com

Tylenol.. acetaminophen.. That is the only thing approved during pregnacy. If you take advil ...motrin...your baby could have heart valve problems

Are you drinking enough water? I know that while I was pregnant, if I didn't drink enough I would get the worst headaches you can think of, just try that and if that doesn't fix it see your doctor!

unless your doctor states otherwise, the only thing you can do is take tylenol...also, use a cold compress on your head.
