with the new technology and research done it's completely safe to wait longer to have children. Unless you are obese or have some other health issue or smoke.
if you want a new career, a bigger house, and another child I say get the education, then the bigger house then try for another child.
I'm a full time college student and I work full time- It's NOT easy and then to come home to two children- not going to happen. I'm sorry but you'll end up crazy and exhausted.
I want my first child between 26 and 28 and I want 2 children so I'll be having a child or 2 in my 30's.
It's completely okay, a lot of people don't agree but as long as the mother and father are in good shape it's fine!

I'm 41 and I just had a baby 4 weeks ago. Yes, I'm what you call "advanced maternal age" but I happened to get pregnant and was happy I did. The baby is healthy and so am I. I also work at home so I am here for my children, all 3 of them.
I don't think you are too old at 30 to have a child. There are many people who still are having children at that age and many who are just starting to have them.
It's all up to you but I think it's fine.
Best of luck in your new career and expanding family.

Normally 30 is far from being too old to have kids. It would be more of a personal choice as far as having them or not. There is absolutely nothing wrong with waiting until it is convenient for you to do it. Especially if this career change would end up being beneficial to the family as a whole. Children are always better to have when planned than not too.

I would finish school & then have my next child. It would be much to difficult, in my opinion, to do both at the same time. 31 is definitely not to old...my friend just had her first at 35 & she's planning on a 2nd soon!

Having children in your 30 aint too old. No way. But, having children and not raising them is pretty sad. I know some folks may need the help of daycare and thats understanbable, but if you don't need to work outside the home, then stay with your babies. But you want more babies, more education, bigger home, and your gonna have a career............... I would say no to having more children.

Nope. My mom had me at 33 and my brother at 37, and people have had children well into their 60's. Some people over 35 or so may need professional assistance, but it's definetely not out of the question.

I had my youngest daughter right after I turned 30, and I am having a blast, and ready for another one...I am going to be 32 soon, and I dont think that 33 is to old to do it again. Good luck, go for it...have fun.

You can have kids until about forty-ish (I think that's a good cut-off time), but remember that the longer you wait the more of a health risk there is to you and the baby.

I was 34 when my last was born. That's not too old at all. I did however prefer to have my children closer in age to each other. It's a personal choice between you and your hubby, but you are definately young enough.

Ha Ha Ha! Sorry! But I had to grab my cane and metamucil after reading that. But I couldn't get up because my aged self is nursing my newborn at the moment!
Don't worry so much...30 is by no means old!
