You know?Really I think those names are striking.
I wouldn't be ashamed of either one male or female.
You have a very good taste in names.

Addison Feminine. Cameron Masculine.

Addison, feminine. I think it's because Addison becomes Addy, which is so close to Maddy and Mattie and Abby (all feminine nicknames due to the millions of Madelyns, Madisons, Abigails, etc running around today's elementary schools).

Cameron, either. On one hand, I think of Kirk Cameron (the Growing Pains guy... Mike). On the other hand, I think of Candace Cameron (the Full House girl... DJ). It's sort of in between. I'd only consider it for a girl, though. If a girl has a boyish name, it's usually not a big deal (look at all the girls named Jordan, Taylor, Ryan, and other names that were once strictly masculine) and can even help make a powerful first impression. If a boy has a girly name, though, people will perceive him as weak upon first meeting him. Fair or not, it's true.

Addison rhymes with Maddison which is a girl's name, so I would say Addison is definetly feminine...sure it's slightly tomboyish, but I would say girl. As for Cameron, I would say either way, although once again, I would probably go with girl.

If this makes any sense I think these names are boyish-feminine names.

And I like Addison better.

I think they are both boy names. I mean come on, Addison means SON of Adam. Cameron is also very masculine to me. I prefer Cameron on a boy of the two.

When i glanced at the names before even reading the question, i instantly thought girl. BUT after thinking it over for a sec, i thought of thomas addison... and cameron just sounds guy-ish to me in general, even though at first it made me think of cameron diaz. so... i'd say more femenine than masculine, but truelly it can easily go either way! but if you are thinking of boy names, i do think cameron would be a hot guy name :) but addison is wayyyy too old fashioned sounding for a boy... its classier as a girl name.
OK so final answer... sry i'm confusing me but here is what i think:
addison - girl
cameron - boy
hope this helped, even a little bit :)

I think Addison sounds more like a girl name. Every time I hear Cameron I think of a boy.

Addison sounds masculine to me because i know a guy named Addison and Cameron sounds feminine because it makes me think of Cameron Diaz.

Those are both unisex names. In my personal opinion Addison is a more feminine name. Cameron is about 50/50....if really can go either way.

Addison is definately a girl name ive seen it on webs as a boy name that just blows my mind...but there is also the name Maddison too. i really like that name.
but cameron to me is a boy name all my classmates through ther years that were cameron were ALL boys
mabey MABEY with K- Kameron it could be a little more feminine but i dont know why Cameron Diaz doesnt go by her middle name or something- but its a cute name... for a boy.
