Yes it is fine. I take my son in the front seat of a pick-up. He loves it. He can see me and outside. The airbags need to be off. If your baby rides in the back, put him in the middle.

Its not safe for babies to ride in the front seat, but if you can not get another vehicle it is safer in the center. If there are airbags in the truck that can not be turned off, then it is absolutely unsafe. If the airbag deploys it could kill the baby.

HEHEHEHE THE TRUNK. I think so long as there isn't an airbag and you still have them rear facing, a truck is ok. The newer trucks with airbags now have the on/off switch for that airbag, just for that purpose.

the middle is always best not matter what kind of car it is. as long as there is no airbag you should be fine. it's great that you're already concerned. maybe you should look into a family car though since there will be alot more you'll be carrying around once baby gets a little older:) congrats and good luck

I put my child in the middle of my car (which does have a backseat) because I feel like it is safer. As long as there is no airbag and you have her rear facing until 20 pounds and one year old, you should be fine. If that is your only transportation, then thats all you can do.

Middle seat in a proper car seat is as safe as your going to get. I feel trucks are safer than cars anyhow.

The middle is best. If you have a newer pickup with airbags there should be a switch or a key hole for turning it off.

it's safe enough. we have a truck and all is well but baby goes in the middle. never put baby by the door and make sure air bags are turned off! good luck
