Hi all. I had a miscarraige on June 21. I did not have a D & C. Bleeding stopped and HCG levels fianlly returned to normal on about July 18th. Had some very light spotting yesterday and wondered if that could have been implantation bleeding?? Is it too soon to test?

Could be implantation bleeding or your period trying to get back on track. I miscarried last Oct at 14 weeks with a natural miscarriage. My doc said that my hubby and I could ttc as soon as we felt we were over our loss. We waited about 6 months because both my hubby and I took the loss of our son hard. If I remember right my period started about 9 weeks after I miscarried, and it took a few months to get back to normal time of the month. When we ttc again, it only took us a month to get pregnant and here we are 15 weeks pregnant. If you think you are pregnant, give your OB a call. Best of luck.

After implantation it takes 2-4 days for the embryo to start producing hcg in amounts that can be detected in urine. So, the bleeding yesterday, wait at least til tomorrow or thursday would be even better.

You could be expecting - the best thing to do would be to call your doctor. Good luck!
