were having a boy and i want him to be named after his daddy!!! his daddy's name is michael travis parsons. i like the name malachi. it's close enough to michael but slightly different. if we were having a girl her name would have been michaela. i have three outh children named abigail, elijah, and josiah. what's your ideas????

I have been having major problems with my 4 and 5 yr old girls over the last few weeks. They have been getting on their bedroom furniture and jumping off, tearing up their books and toys, not minding at all,and getting up extremely early and taking things from the house that do not belong to them. We have tried talking to them about why what they are doing is wrong( suuch as if you jump of the dresser you could really hurt yourself. Break your arm or leg and have to go to the hospital. And that would hurt very bad and make daddy and mama very sad that you hurt yourself.) We have tried time outs, taking away priveleges like not getting to play with their slip and slide, spanking, if they do something good they are rewarded. I am at wits end. Well this morning I guess I finally lost it somewhat. I have taken all their toys away since they are tearing them up anyway and told them that they had to earn them back. I took out the furniture except for matresses so they cant jump off

My baby was born prematurely and he just came home from the NICU on Monday. They gave me ready to eat formula. I fed him all of it. Then they also gave me some more formula, which I thought was ready to eat, and I gave it to him, and it wasnt. I was supposed to refrigorate it, and I didnt. Then I went and bought him some powder formula, and I let my fiance's mom watch him and she didnt heat up the formula. Could this cause him to be consipated? HE hasnt pooped in two days. He has been grunting and crying. I have called his prediatrician, and all he said was he can go 3 to 4 days without pooping and to give him an ounce of apple juice. What do I do? Have I hurt my baby?

I am a fraternal twin and my husband is also a fraternal twin. He also has 2 brothers who are identical twins. Twins do not run in my family. My brother and i are the only twins in the family. But twins do run in my husbands family. I have heard that only fraternal twins are genetic and it only depends on the womans side. So I am guessing it would not matter if twins run in my husbands family. Even though twins do not run in my family am I more like to have a twin just because i am one?

P.S. honestly I realy do not want to have twins

I have a two year old son and when he does not get what he wants he throws things ( shoes drinks toys) anything he can get his hands on, anyone got any ideas what to do when he does this ( he does not understand time out ) and it seems to be worse when we are out . Thanks for all ideas

the baby is 11 months old, not breast fed on still on milk.
i read that he should drink plenty of fluids, but he does that any way but hes still constipated and cries when he passes a stool - indicating its clearly hurting him.

O.K. I HAD MY ULTRASOUND AT 18 WEEKS!!!! WE'RE HAVING A BOY AND HE WAS PROUD TO SHOW IT OFF!!! HOWEVER, THEY COULD NOT SEE ALL FOUR CHAMBERS OF THE HEART AT THIS STAGE AND THEY SAID THAT THE BOWELS WERE LIGHTING UP TOO MUCH!!! THEY ALSO SAID I HAD PLACENTA PREVIA. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE BOWELS LIGHTING UP MEANS AND IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH OUR SON? THEY SCHEDULED ANOTHER ULTRASOUND FOR JULY 31WITH A FETAL ECHO FOLLOWING. THE NURSE CALLED AND WANTED TO SCHEDULE US TO MEET WITH A SPECIALIST AFTER THE FETAL ECHO. DO THEY KNOW SOMETHING ALREADY AND ARE JUST NOT TELLING ME YET TIL THEY KNOW FOR SURE? HAS ANYONE HAD ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ISSUES AND WHAT DO THEY MEAN???? HELP!!!

My daughter is complaining today about her shorts. She has worn these shorts before and has decided today that they 'feel crooked and look like boy shorts' and is now pitching a fit. Now, usually I would just let her change but I feel I have to put my foot down at this point. I have taken her shopping and tried on clothes and shoes that we get home and she wears once and then complains they don't fit. For instance: We bought her black shoes that she wore once and then decided they were to big. Not too small, too big. This is becoming more and more of a problem and I feel that at some point I have to stop the cycle. She is now stomping her feet around the house and is angry. I asked her to just give the shorts a few more minutes to see if they will feel more comfortable and she is now pouting in her room. Again, she has worn these before and I don't see what the problem is except her being a stinker. I run this house, not the 9yr old. Any advice?

About 6 days ago I woke up and had some bruise type pain in my right breast, the next few days go by and its worse, and in my right breast I have a mass wich is soft and smooth but firm and full. Well now I am having this kind of fullness feeling in my pelvic area and I threw up about 2 days ago wich I contributed to the heat and allergy attack. Well I noticed yesterday that my left breast feels full to but no mass, (btw im going to dr. tomorrow ) I am pee'ing a little more then ususal and Ive been really tired last week or so. But the thing is, I had my tubes lazer burned 10 yrs ago, Im 38 and I have normal consistant periods like clock work normally but last month it was late. I do not expect it to come again this month for another week. But I just have this really strange feeling that I feel pregnant. Now I don't really remember what it feels like as my kids are 13 and 15 yrs old so Im a little confused.

My cycle started Jun22nd, I ovulated on the Jul 4th, my cycle is very irregular, so, I don't know when to expect it to test that day. So my question is which cycle day should I test on or how many days after ovulation should I test? I'm hoping this is my month...I have abdominal pain(twinges) heartburn, very sensitive nipples an I have not been feeling good for the past week and a half(light headed like I'm about to come down with the flu) my CM is white and creamy and my temp has been around 98.3 for over a week.

Im looking to get a Quantitive blood test. I think I spelled it correctly...the one that doesn't just give a "yes or no", but actually gives you the number amount. Anyways...I'm wondering if you would go to your obgyn or to your family doctor for this?...Im only 11dpo, do you think it would be accurate?......From everything that I have read, I think it would be fine. I'm not quit sure how to deal with my 13 yr old, I go out buy her clothes, ( I take her with me so she picks them out) and then she wears her old rags, I remind her nicely about the newer clothes and she says oh this is fine mom, I don't want to nag her, I want her to make the change of looking nice when she's ready, I think its a comfort thing, will this change, when I go to town I feel weird because my other two our dressed really cute and she choose to dress like a bum what can I do,,,

He's 3 months old and shortly after his birth his eye became really watery and puss like. We're constantly cleaning it. We still don't know what it is and we've asked the Dr. a million times. He just told us to massage it. I've been reading and it sound like this "Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction" but not to sure. Does anyone know the name of the antibiotic ointment . I was weondering? my friend had a baby no long ago and there was a possibility it wasn't her partners but her partners best mate's they both knew they could ahve been the father so her partner got a DNA test done shortly after the birth, which said he was not the father, no the other guy wants a DNA test done aswell, my friend is rather upset about the results and is very angry that the other guy now wants a DNA test she has refused but will she ben taken to court? will she have to get it done? or could she fight it? she doesn't want money off of the guy or his family and she has said if they want to see the baby they can? can anyone help? if she went to court could she ever win?
