I am thirteen years old and my friend is a year older than me. She and I are very different; I am more conservative and I like things to be organized, I was raised in a different country.

My friend is like a typical American teenger. She has more of an emo style, but emo/scene doesn't really fit her honestly. The only thing we REALLY have in common is we both enjoy reading incessantly.

Recently she's acquired a "boyfriend"; he's a senior in high school and he lives in a city about 15 minutes away from where we live. My friend and I haven't even started high school yet! I told my friend to be careful about this boyfriend of hers, (she's never even met him, she met him online) and she really only likes him because he has the whole emo style. I lectured her to be very careful since he's three years older than her, and she hasn't met him before. Now she is angry at me (she hasn't spoken to me for 3 days)

She's sort of a bad influence. Should I still hang around her?

I'm really trying to start up a daycare and can use some helpful advice from someone who may have there own business or from someone who has children in daycare. What are the things that stand out the most in your child's daycare that make you feel safe enough to allow your child attend? What is the charge for weekly for your child's daycare and what are the things that you like the most about the facility? Does anyone have any horror stories about a daycare where you may have worked or where someone has mistakenly enrolled a child into?

I had sex while ovulating several times, and I feel like somewhat pregnant such as boob aching and they are getting larger. But I started my period 6 days late. I do not think it was a real period because usually my period last about 7-8 days and this one lasted only about 2 with a little bit of spotting afterwards. What do you think? pregnant or not pregnant?

Yesterday I was cleaning and bent over to pick something up and felt a sort of popping in my left side, It didnt work, just startled me a bit. Could i have hurt my baby? I mean I felt her moving around alot the night before last and last night didnt really feel that much of anything, just a few movements... I'm just worried plz help, my mom said I'm freaking out over nothing...and I'm going to call the doc tomorrow,I just want some peace of mind..

and he is 4 months old. Is it normal that he is sleeping a lot right now? He does not have a fever but he is really congested. I am using a humidifier and I tried clearing his nose with an aspirator.... but i feel like it all doesnt come out. Is it ok that he is real sleep and sleepy alot? Also is it safe to give them OTC decognestants? Or should I wait for his doc app? Any other tips, advice, thanks

Well hello i am currently 23 weeks pregnant and i had a u/s when i was 21 weeks and the baby was being really shy and could not see anything! and to top it off the tech was being an ***! well i recently went in for my 22 week appt and the doctor said everything looked fine! but the problem is i really really want to know the sex of the baby! and i have no money to go to and have done a 3d/4d u/s! and i was wondering i have been having some light cramping can i go to the hospital and see if they will give me an u/s i know i may sound selfish right now but i really want to know!!! it's killing me!!! what do you think i could say that is going on with me to for sure get an u/s at the hospital?ONLY NICE ANSWERS PLEASE!

I love to play sports and to be active, I have alot of energy too. I am starting at a new school year, so I want to get involved in the sports, but I am afraid because I already have to make new friends, and I dont want to make a fool of my self trying to do a sport. I am at the age where everybody is starting to find their talent and I havent yet so I am afraid everybody will be better than me., I have done 2 years of competitive swimming and many years of dance, soccer, 3 years of baseball, kickball, volleyball camp, and 2 seasons of basketball. Should I try out for a team or just make friends first and then worry about that.

Our anniversary is coming up this week and we would like to go somewhere on vacation. However, we have a 3 month old who needs to be hooked up to a machine that monitors her breathing (she's fine, she has sleep apnea related to her reflux.) It can't be too expensive, I haven't worked since March because of maternity leave and will not get another paycheck till October so the money is kind of tight. We love camping, but can't hook up her equipment if we are camping. She spends the night at her grandparents all the time, but I would kind of like her to share our anniversary, but it's not needed. Thank you for your help.

I have been tracking my temps first thing in the morning, as directed in TCoYF, and checking CM. I have had about a half a degree temp rise the past two days, the only different thing I have done was get an allergy shot on Friday afternoon. Could this affect my BBT because it increased the different antibodies, etc. in my system. I know I haven't ovulated as I have been checking temps, CM, and using OPKs. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

I was doing OK with my pregnancy, but my fiance jokes so much about delivery that it makes me so scared. I am only 14 weeks along, but this already affects me in a bad way.

He is taking an EMT course and tells me how disgusting the process is, that all newborns are ugly, that my body will never be the same. Mostly he jokes about my genitalia, telling I should get a C-section. Then he tells me about complications... etc.
When I tell him that I am scared, he jokes saying maybe you should have gotten an abortion.

I know that he is joking and trying to be a pain. I know that delivery is hard and anything is possible, but when I have my baby, I do not want to think that my husbands is disgusted by us. I just won't be able to have him in delivery room and I am not sure if I want him in the hospital at all.

This is a big joke for him. How do I ignore him and have a healthy pregnancy?

My son is a month old and my mother has been getting on to me about taking him to church... i dont want to take him to church because everytbody will be wanting to hold him and they will be breathing on him and you dont know if people are sick are not....can anybody give me some advice about what to do? Does this make me a bad mom for not wanting to take him to church and how do i explain it to my mother that i dont want to take him?

Before I became pregnant it as not nomral for me to go #2 everyday. Now after that I became pregnant (1st trimester) I find myself being incredibley gassy and going #2 at least once per day if not too. Some of the stools are loose or soft and very warm. kind of like that sore bum feeling you get when you have diahereah. I have yet to see any morning sickeness. Is it going down rather than up?
