I have been tracking my temps first thing in the morning, as directed in TCoYF, and checking CM. I have had about a half a degree temp rise the past two days, the only different thing I have done was get an allergy shot on Friday afternoon. Could this affect my BBT because it increased the different antibodies, etc. in my system. I know I haven't ovulated as I have been checking temps, CM, and using OPKs. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Yes, the half a degree went from about 97.2 to 97.7

The allergy shots are not steroids, they are just a serum built up with things I am allergic to in order to boost my immunity. Also, I only get them once every three weeks.

When you say half a degree, you mean like 97.0 to 97.5 right? That's half a degree (I ask because some really don't know that). I'd just keep on charting and just see what happens. If it stays up a 3rd day that means you ovulated. I dont think an allergy shot would cause 2 days of your temp being up. My cm doesn't match up with ovulation, and I have to take OPK 2x a day because my surge doesn't last long and I was missing it when just taking it 1x a day. Good luck.

Is the allergy shot a steroid? A friend of mine took a steroid shot to relieve severe allergies in April, and her cycle has been erratic ever since. She now gets her period every two weeks. And her doctor didn't even tell her that it was a side effect! Hopefully that's not the same stuff you used.
