HAS NOT PUT ME ON BED REST YET BUT TODAY I HAVE HAD SOME CRAMPING BUT IT SEEMS TO JUST BE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF MY UTERUS? DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE PLACENTA PREVIA AND WHAT ARE YOUR SYMPTOMS? WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

I did have placeta previa with my last child. I did'nt really have any symptoms and the doctor never did put me on bed rest. The only limitatuion I had was that my husband and I were forbidden from having intercourse with penetration.
The cramping is something I went through with all my pregnancies and was not specific to placenta previa. As long as you are'nt a rodeo clown or something, you should be fine through the pregnancy. In my case the placenta did move as the baby grew and was in the right position for delivery. Good luck and try not to worry.

I had that too, but they can't actually give you the diagnosis at 19 weeks, they usually say you are at risk for it and then at the start of your 3rd trimester they will give you the diagnosis if nothing has changed. AT 19 weeks you have a 95% chance of having is resolve by the 3rd trimester. This is because as you get bigger the uterus pulls the placenta upward. Unfortunately I was part of the 5% that this didn't happen too. I had a minor abruption at 36 weeks which actually removed the piece of the placenta that was touching my cervix. I had a vaginal birth, although I did bleed alot. I'm sure you will be fine. Follow the doctors instructions, take it easy and no sex with this condition. I bet at your next ultrsound it will have resolved. If not, marginal is way better than partial or full previa. Good luck.
