I had a quick peek at my baby at 16wks and the Dr. told me it was a girl...bieng that it was so early I was a lil skeptical. But knowing what I felt i knew it was true. I had my 20wk U/S last week and was confirmed that She's truely a girl!...now Im even more excited.
Good Luck~

It is possible to tell since the sexual organs have already formed by week 9 but it has to be a very sensitive ultrasound in order to really tell. I went when i was 13 weeks and all my doctor could tell me is it looked like a button he couldn't tell anything so at 17 weeks i went to a 3D place and i was told its a boy. I will be 19 weeks this coming tuesday, i will be going back to my doctor in about 2 weeks for another ultrasound. He told me its best seen between 18-21 weeks because trying to detect it as early as 13 weeks could give you the wrong sex. The doc may tell you its a boy when its actually a girl so whatever they tell you at 15 weeks when you go wait until you go on your 20th week and then you'll definitely get a real good result.

I had an appt. at about 16 weeks, my OB checked for the sex but the legs were crossed. The baby was waving though so I was satisfied. I have my 20 week scan on tuesday so I know its hard so if you get no answers just be patient. You dont want a wrong prediction even though they are never 100%. Good luck

I found out at 11 almost 12 weeks and the sex was the same when they did it again at 16 weeks. It could be possible to tell then.

its possible, but dont get your hopes up. i know of some people who have found out at 14-15 weeks; at 15 weeks the outer genitalia are formed enough to see by u/s BUT its still small and sometimes hard to see. normally, you will see around 18-22 weeks. i havent found out with either of mine until 19-20 and i just had one done at 17 weeks, and baby had its legs crossed tight; but we wouldnt have most likely been able to tell; she said she didnt see anything but wouldnt say its a girl since the legs were so crossed. good luck!! and congrats on the baby!

I'll be going to the doctor on Tuesday to find out and I'll be in week 19...but at my last appointment, when I was in week 16, she said it was a little to early to see what the baby is, so it might be too early at 15.4 weeks.

regardless of if it incredibly is a splash boy they are able to tell. besides the undeniable fact that your terrific guess is to attend till after 18 weeks. The intercourse of your newborn would properly be desperate with minimum blunders at approximately 25 weeks

It depends on how good your doctor is. With my first child I found out at 16 weeks, and I have a sono scheduled at exactly 15 weeks, and they plan on telling me then. I guess its different with everybody. Good luck!!
