My sister recently had a baby and they said there was meconium comin out too. My dad freaked out because he was always told this was a serious sign that the baby was in distress. The doctors weren't too worried though. Should they have been more worried?

I dont' want to be mean to my son and his father says that i have to control him or he's just going to walk all over me. I understand what he means but I only get so my time with him his father stays at home with him and i work 2 jobs so i don't get to see him very much and i don't want to spend the hole time yelling and punshing him. He listens fine outside and in the store but when it come to being in the house he just does what he wants to do no matter what i say or do. Please help

My son is 2 ½ and I have been potty training him for the last few weeks, I have no complaints at home he goes on his own (except #2 but we will work on that later)! But for some reason at school he will not tell the teachers when he has to go to the bathroom he has at least 2 accidents a day which is not a problem for me because I don’t have to clean it up. I am just trying to find a helpful way that will get him to tell the teacher when he has to go, if the teachers just take him he goes but he won’t just go in his own. He goes to a good daycare it’s located in the federal building and I dont think that they would just hire anybody.

I am pregnant and having heavy bleeding. For the past few days it was just spotting but now it is heavy and i'm also having bad back ache. I only found out I was pregnant last week-roughly 2 months. My friend told me when she had a miscarriage she didn't need to go to the hospital. Is this correct? What will happen when I go and will they still be able to tell I was pregnant? Please help...

We have a list of names we liked and have now agreed that these are the three we will pick out of:
Bailey
Molly
Maisie
We will wait to see which suits her best, but I was wondering your opinions on them and what would go nice as a middle name. Her surname will be either be Barker (mine) or Young (her dads). Also, what do you think is a nicer way of spelling Bailey.. bailee/bailie or just the usual bailey. thanks

But now she is starting to wake up in the middle of the night now. Before bed she sucks down 8 oz. But I don't think it is lasting her through the night anymore. My family has told me that it would be ok to give her cereal now if she is still hungry. My mom gave me cereal when I was 3 months and I was fine. I was just wondering if anybody has tried this and if this has worked. Thanks for your answers!!

I have suffered with GAD for the last 8 years, i have tried various SSRi's which have not helped and for the last year i have been prescribed Diazepam and Propranolol, which has helped me tremendously, i have not had to up my dosage of Diazepam, so i really do not think that i have become addicted to it. My anxiety is so bad that before i took the Diazepam and Propranolol I was agraphobic, which was extermely crippling both emotionally and financially. I can not claim benefits because my husband is working and earning £16,000pa. I have now become pregnant (not planned) and of course have stopped taking medication. I have an appointment with my gp next week to discuss what we can do to help my anxiety as he is worried that my anxiety might get worse. If anyone has been in this situation i would appreciate some advice and maybe let me know how you coped, i would also appreciate some general advice.

i mean ikno now that it sorta is and sorta isnt.. (me im waitn till im married) but anyway, i hear alot of ppl sayinng wait until ur married etc. util u have a job.. but isnt that also true that even an adut can go throught alot of stuff that a teen can go through?

My brothers friend got a girl pregnant during a one-night-stand. (We have told him how stupid he was for not being more careful) Anyway as far as he knows the baby is his (he'll have a paternity test when it's born) The problem is though he knows this girl is doing drugs which is obviously harming the baby.

Does he have any legal rights to prevent her from doing this?

the parents had to drag the dog off the child. And he had to have surgery to repair the damage the dog did to him. It on the Niagra Gazette website. www. niagra gazette.co. This is the most horrible example of why ppl should not have these vicious dogs.

My cousin's daughter has behavior problems. She is 5 years old. My cousin is a stay at home Mom and her daughter yells at her, tells her she is a bad Mom. Whenever she is in time-out she tells her Mom she hates her. Just recently they were on a road trip and her Mom stopped the car so she could have her in time out for 6 minutes and she said "why don't you just run me over with the car so I can die". I told her I thought that was her way of taking back power. My cousin is a wonderful Mom and loves and takes good care of her children. Is this normal of a 5 year-old?

I have to work and I live in gaithersburg,md and I'm not happy where my son is going now..there is no life in the classes and the teacher don't even greet the kids in the morning the kids spend most of the day inside playing with legos when I'm paying 240.00$ a week and if you want them to go to the pool for a hour its 100$ more. they go outside for a half a hour everyday and thats it most of the day they play to them selfs .and I need a camp so I can work..would u take your kid out if he was not having fun..do you know whereI can find a better camp??.this is my kid and I'm feeling like a bad mom it's summer he should be having so much fun.it's from 8am-6pm and he's always mad and he has started wetting on his self at school and never has done this ever at preschool or home..
