Having the vaccine a few days before turning one is probably OK from the standpoint of efficacy,
BUT:
several years from now the school nurse will review the records and tell you that the vaccine [measles] has to be given at or after 1 year of age, or else it needs repeating. By law or school board policy, she can cut you no slack.
Having torn my hair out numerous times by this hair splitting, my recommendation is to wait until after your baby's first birthday. It has become less of an issue now that several of these vaccines are repeated prior to kindergarten entrance.

I think one yr vaccinations are on or after the 1st b'day. I tried to make an appointment for my lil' girl earlier too, but the nurse said that she will be given the following : HIB, Hep A, Varivax and that must be on or after 1st birthday. Not sure how the routine schedule for you baby is or what vaccination her pediatrician gives her for the 1st b'day - but you might want to check with her pediatrician too.

No, they will make you have them after you return. They will not vacinate her until she is 1 year.
