my period is about 6 days late and i have recently been experincing these cramps. some have been mild (5 days ago) but yesterday and today my cramps are getting pretty painful. I normally get strong cramps when i get my period but i want to know why my period hasen't came yet. i have been exercising not too long ago (starting the 20th of june) everyday for an hour and been under a lot of stress. could these cramps be due to my period coming or what? and is there any foods or vitamins etc that could make it come faster i heard iron works. any suggestions and are these cramps normal?

Is it right for a mother to keep a child and a father apart simply because she wants to? If there is absolutely no basis for the isolation, how can she morally, and legally keep them apart? Isn't that not only unfair to the father but also to that child? And what will she tell the child when he gets older?

Mine began with my second pregnancy at about the last month and I didn't worry too much about it because I was almost done. But I am now pregnant with my third and the varicosities began when I was about 2 1/2 months along. They are getting worse the bigger I get and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these particular varicosities, how bad they were, how the labor and delivery went and did they go away after you gave birth.

Ok...example....I was at the convience store the other day and a little girl picked out a diet coke. She put it on the counter and her father goes "You don't want that, thats YUCKY!"

I wanted to say "dude, if she wants to try it let her."

But instead he grabbed her a sugar and calorie loaded coke.

The same thing goes with all foods and drinks. When the parents act like picky brats and say "oh I dont like that" or "oh thats YUCKY" then don't they know that thier kids are going to emulate that same behavior?

My boyfriends younger brother is almost 4 and he still isn't potty trained and he has no interest in learning either it's almost like he enjoys wearing a diaper? it's not just that though his father (my bf's step-dad) Let's him drink so much coke and eat so much candy that his teeth are all rotting out and had to have them pulled, he has no bed time, he stays up till 11 at night, he doesn't speak well and he has no desire at all to learn anything. Im worried that his father is ruining him, i truly feel like he is an unfit parent. Is there anything that i can do or say or do you think that it is completly not my place i love this little boy like my own brother i just think that it's a little weird that hes so far behind. Is there anything i can do or do i just have to let it be?!

Someone has to pay the hospital and doctors for mother and child. I don't see any individual philanthropists offering to donate money for hospital, doctor, food, housing, etc. for an unwed mom and her infant child.

BY THE WAY: My children are grown--and NONE are pregnant--this regards someone else who is not getting help from anyone.

my son just turned 2.5 and I think he maybe ready for potty training this weekend we are going to put him into a toddler bed and then in 2 weeks we want to start potty training. My questions are how do i get him to tell me he wants to go on the potty? (If I put him on the potty he usually will go but he won't tell me before hand). I thought I could put underwear on him and put him on like every 1/2 hour or so and maybe he will eventally tell me he has to go before. But now when I put him on the potty he makes me get out of the bathroom for "privacy" then I don't know if he goes or not because will tell me he did but then like 2 minutes later he will pee. I tried using the potty with the catch cup thing but he doesn't like it anymore and wants to sit on the big potty with nothing on it. I'm going to get videos and books and everything I can think and really focus on training him in 2 weeks do I could use any ideas or thoughts. Thanks in advance!!!

The whole day is great with kids but i think every parent has a time of day that is just special to them. My favorite time of day with my kids is storytime. Its between bathtime and bed time. They both smell so good and are relaxed before bed. We snuggle in the big armchair and i read a bedtime story. Ive read to both my children every night since they have been born. I hope that they will look back on these nights snuggled up with me as fond memories when they are all grown up.

My daughter is one week from turning 11 months old. She is currently drinking formula and I was wondering when is the best time to make the transition to something else. My boyfriend wants to put her on regular milk, and I figured since shes so close to a year that maybe it couldnt hurt. Plus I have family that put there children on milk even a little earlier. I really want to try it but I just dont know what type of milk to use. She has always transitioned well to everything I have ever given her, but I am unsure of what is best to give. She is currently on a soy formula, but this is NOT due to allergies. It is just a brand I was given a few cans of. Soy seems like a good bet, but what brand? Also, I do not know much about Raw or unpasterized milk, but I have always been told this type of milk can make a person sick? Im not sure... but serious answers only please. And anyone who knows about the different types of milk...I would really like to hear from you...

Stop using guilt and manipulation to sway my decision on abortion, the best decisions are based on reason and maturity. Do you know how many children around the world are alone and unadopted? They are by the millions. Pro-choice users actually tell you to follow your heart and do what's best when you attack them and their views on the subject. I am trying to make a healthy responsible decision for myself, and my unborn child. Is it responsible to abort? Definately not, is it responsible to keep it? No, not with the means I have now. God is a forgiving god and if it's religion you're all worried about than you've got another thing coming because God would take that baby back in a second and give him/her to someone else more deserving.
Thank you to all the pro-choice users helping me make my decision, and thank you to all of the pro-life users for caring so much about something you probably know nothing about.
I don't see pro-life users ever helping us to raise a child.
Thank you :)

We all hear the arguments about pro-choice/pro-life. Ok, fine. But what makes people think that adoption is always a better answer than abortion? Abortion is selfish, but is it not also selfish to throw an infant into a system that's going nowhere? U.S adoptions has never been at a very high rate. With the recent trend of celebrities adopting overseas and naive people following in their footsteps, I'm sure it hasn't risen any. Can one say that being bounced from foster family to foster family, and seeing God knows what horrors, is what's really in the best interest of that child? I'm not looking for an arguement, just looking for opinions. Personally, I'm pro-choice but neither abortion or adoption is an option I'd take. What are your views?

I mean considering the egg has to travel down the fallopian tubes and then if not fertilized you get a period...what happens if the fallopian tubes are blocked and the egg can't travel? I would assume you wouldn't have a period(or what period you would have would only be due to the uterine lining deteriorating)..

I have a teenage son (16 yrs). Actually, he is my step-son, but we have full custody for the past 4 yrs. Sadly, he grew up most of his life in a house where MEN were considered lower than dirt. However, it is not that way in our house. My husband works really hard and is giving the utmost honor and respect from all of us. We have 2 other children, (my step-daughter 12yrs and my son 12yrs) My husband and I have no other children together. From day one, they have all been ours! My oldest son (16yrs) has always had low self-esteem. We have tried everything to build this up. We give a lot of praise around here for anything. It had gotten so bad, we had to seek counseling. He keeps us laughing at home or around the family 24/7. In public or at school, he is painfully shy and rarely says anything. He has NO friends. NONE! Never has. My 2 12yr olds have friends calling or coming over or going over there house all the time. This is not a geeky, nerdy, guy!

I will tell you my situation and you tell me if you see any roadbumbs. I want to adopt my step-daughter and my wife agrees. We live in California and I am in the marines. The natural father is incarcerated and is in Texas (where we were before I was stationed here). His rights of seeing her switched to his parents when he went to prison (btw his crime was raping his 12 year old neice) We don't think he will sign her over willingly. Before I do this I just want to know if the adoption and termination of rights will go without problems.

We have narrowed to down to three....

Priscilla Rowan or Blaire?
Alexia Rowan
Caralyn Blaire

Yes Caralyn is kind of made up, but we only chose this so that we could call her Cara...i am not fond of just Cara as a first name because it seems incomplete too me!!

Which one do you like most, least, and why??
