yup, you're safe as long as it's all gone.
My son hated his 1st real bath! Screamed bloody murder.. second time around, not a peep out of him!! he loves them now! So don't be surprised if she protestS!

Yes, it's OK, but isn't it a lot easier to sponge bathe? I told mothers to wait until their infants had better head control before putting them in a tub. More recently there are rigid plastic supports that an infant can lie on while in the tub. That seemed to make it easier for my daughter to bathe her infants in the tub.

You shoul wait. Even though it falls off doesn't mean that it's closed. My sons fell off and I'm glad I waited because the dr told me it was still open and wasn't dry yet. He put something in it so that it could dry and I was able to give him a real bath at about 3 weeks old.

You can start giving her a regular bath now. Make sure you still clean her belly button really good so if there is any blood you can get rid of it.

You can start giving her regular baths in a couple of days, give it a day or two to get fully healed up.

as long as it's gone, as well as the stump-go ahead! it's so much fun to give them their first bath.
