Masturbate?

Think. What happens should the protection fail? Sadly, it isn't always foolproof.

If you're under the age of 18, (hell, to be honest, I'll go with 21 and for some people, never), don't. It really isn't worth it, and should your protection fail, you'll be stuck with an even bigger problem, be it pregnancy or an STD.

Masturbation is indeed one answer, another is to focus on different things. If you're in your teens and early 20s, your hormones are going nuts, (I remember that stage in my life), and it can be difficult to exercise self-control, but in the end that self-control is WELL worth it.

Mature, both physically and mentally, before going ahead and diving into sex. Take your time and enjoy being yourself before you try to add another complex facet to your life.

First ask yourself why you want to have sex. Hopefully it is not because everybody else says they are having it. If you do the safest way is to use two or more contraceptive devices together. Yes they do break on occasion. I strongly recommend waiting until you are sure. If you have to post here YOU ARE NOT READY. You will know when the time is right and that won't be told to you by peer pressure or some guy telling you it will take your relationship to a new level.

Are you worried about becoming pregnant? If so, the only way to prevent it is to not have sex. You could use another form of birth control as well as condoms to help, but nothing is 100% but abstinence.

Are you already pregnant? if so, you can have sex normally and protection isn't really necessary unless you have a new partner and are worried about STDs. It won't harm the baby. You shouldn't if your doctor has put you on bedrest or pelivc rest.

Is this a question about how to use protection? Buy condoms at a Wal-Mart, pharmacy, or grocery store. Go for latex, which is more effective than lambskin. Then be sure to read the instructions on the box ahead of time so that you will know how to use them when the time comes.

If it's a question about whether or not you are emotionally ready for sex... I really can't answer that.

If absolutely MUST have sex, please consider going to planned parenthood. They can provide with condoms and educate about Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

Even if you start taking birthcontrol pills (which I would recommend), you should still use a condom EVERYTIME!

You are not only putting yourself at risk of getting pregnant...you also putting yourself at risk of contracting various STDs...some of which can haunt you for the rest of your life. If you are going to go through with this, please consider whether the person you are giving your virginity to is truly worth the risk.

wait till you're in a serious (ie, heading toward marriage and having kids) relationship. that way if protection fails you won't be hung out to dry. and also your emotions won't be played with.

till then, masturbate. you won't go blind, i promise!

It's really over rated.. If you are under 18 then just hold out a little longer.. Your not missing much.

What? If you have to ask for permission, then you probably are not old enough yet.
