Yes Caralyn is kind of made up, but we only chose this so that we could call her Cara...i am not fond of just Cara as a first name because it seems incomplete too me!!

I just realized i can't use Caralyn, because i have always been against giving two of my kids names that start with the same letter...and Ceci just asked me in tears why she has to share her letter and none of her sisters have too, so i was thinking maybe Karalyn Blaire and call her Kara?

I like Alexia Rowan. It's prettier to me than the others and I think it goes better with the other names you listed of your daughters.

If you like Cara but can't use it because of the initial and because it sounds too short, how about Tarah? It works very well with your other daughters' names and your last name, and it's a bit more traditional (yet not stuffy), and that seems to match your taste.

I can't get past you have 5 girls and are having a 6th. Cara is very cute but I don't like Blaire. I don't think it's a boy's name at all tho. Reminds me of Facts of Life in the 80's. Just don't like that name for whatever reason.

I really like Caralyn, if you like Cara then call her Kara. there is this girl I know and that is her name..... Pricilla I would say I would hate if my mom named me that....It is old fashioned and out dated Blaire reminds me of the witch trials so I would say Caralyn is the best or Kara

There is a simple trick to naming and it has to do with the number of sylables in the last name. If your last name is two or more sylables, then a first name with one sylable is more melodic. Conversly, a single sylable last name would require a multiple sylable first name. These are just conventions and not hard and fast rules, but it does work. For example:
