I really like Makayla. That is nice. Catherine is a little old fashioned, which I find endearing also. But, the Makayla part is my fave.

Well, it depends on what you want the name to say. Cathrine is of Greek origins. It means "pure". It is an English form of Kathrine. Makayla has Hebrew origin and is modern. It means "who is like God."

I think both of them are beautiful names but the combination its to heavy. Makayla is wonderful name i really like it. I think its better because its not popular so i think that you should keep it. GOOD LUCK
