I am amazed in this day and age so many of you get asked this....I don't feel the need to justify myself, but I do feel indignant that people would ask with the attitude that it's a walk in the park! Thanks for all of the feedback.

No one has ever dared ask me that.
But if they did, I would recite minute by minute my daily schedule, which begins at 6 am and ends at 9 pm. I think they would get the hint :).

were a navy family, we have 4 year old and im 36 weeks pg with our 2nd and getting ready for hubby to go back to sea duty in 3 months... Its hard been a military wife and been on your own alot, for my first pregnancy he was away 9 out of 12 months, and just make it home 4 weeks before our son was born. but it also helps having alittle one to fuss over and take up your time,we are just getting ready for the worst part now.our sons 4 and understands daddys getting ready to go away,im not looking forward to that at all... One thing i would say though id try to remind your self that you married a military man.....its so easy to throw a fit when he cant be there for hospital visits etc and blame the navy etc Just take it one day at a time and try to spend as much time together as a family you never know when orders will arrive

My answer is usually "transportation coordinator" becasue I have 3 kids and we are at the ages of much activity, but too young to drive.

If someone tries to belittle your choice, just offer to trade placed with them for a week.

I have 4 children and a hubby. I tell anyone that asks that I do whatever is needed to keep my bosses happy. If they are confused I remind them of WHO I am taking care of. They don't usually ask beyond that.

I say i am a stay at home mom because i chose to be. when pushed as to why i dont work i say what do u call shopping laundry school work, homeroom mom, and mother and wife. that usually makes them think twice.

You tell them you are a domestic co-ordinator and that sounds like it is important which it is cause they could not pay a mother what she is worth . stay at home moms have my utmost respect because that is a hard job . good luck .

What do you "do" all day?! Tell the truth proudly: you're a mother and a homemaker. There is no more difficult, complicated job in the world.

I simply say I take care of my family. I don't feel I need to justify myself to anyone.
