Just looking for the future here- where did you find the best price & best selection of baby bedding? I have found things I like online, but they are very pricey.

38 weeks pregnant. The last time i asked - i had some bleeding - after a trip to the hospital they said that it was not from the baby or plancenta - but caused by hormonal changes, that had made skin sensitive around vagina walls. The blood would stop by itself.

What i need to know is what the mucus plug looks like - I don't want to be gross about it - because I have read it can come out over a number of days - but is it thicker and more stringy than normal discharge. I can't tell if I have lost it because still having light bleeding.

any help would be appreciated - i have been having braxton hicks and cramps as well - doctor said this was normal.

I'm 4.5 months pregnant and have been avoiding foods like hotdogs and salami as the doctors tell you to stay away from foods like that. If I go to a bbq and have an occasional hotdog or an occasional salami sandwich will it harm my unborn?

Both of my children enjoy reading, but with summer here it is hard to get them inside. In the winter months reading was all they wanted to do. They are 6 & 7 years old. I like for them to read 30 minutes a day. I am looking for incentive programs or other creative ideas you might have. I already signed them up for the book club at our local library. They already know what books they like so interest is not a problem. One idea I had was for every 5 books they read, they can buy one. Anyway, please share your ideas and thoughts. Thanks.

Im in the hospital as i type right now, my water broke 6am monday morning and i was admitted to the hospital. I had a cerclage (cervical stitching) removed 2 days ago and have not went into labor (a good thing i suppose) My doctor says i will stay here until i deliver which i suppose can be at any time (altho im due the end of september) because there is nothing holding my cervix closed. I was just wondering if anyone has been through this before.. Im not allowed to get up even for a shower or the bathroom and im going stir crazy ALTHO i will do everything they say to do so my babys ok.. well please let me know.

my sister was 2 weeks over due and during labour her ba bies heart suddenly stopped beating ,she was being monitered but it was to late,my sister was rushed in for a caeserian but she was still born,how could this of happened the hospital are saying its something that can happen,i dont understand it,ive spoken to the doctor,and they are going to investigate it.
does any one have an idea what could of gone wrong when the hospital wont give us any answers,my sister is sedated now,but its heart breaking when she wakes up she is going to ask for her baby

My little boy is nearly 3 (32 months) and has always had milk in a bottle, even to this day he gets up during the night and can have as many as 3 bottles during the night also. I know this is no longer necessary and has been unecessary since probably about 6 months old and so in the last few weeks i have switched the milk to sugar free diluted juice. He objected at first but now drinks as much juice. He is fully toilet trained during the day and these numerous bottles he consumes are really impairing any chance of dry nights and sleeping through we've been hoping for. Tonight i am going cold turkey and removing the bottle completely as i've noticed his teeth are suffering from him having fluids at night and this is not at all good. Anyone have any advice as to what i should do/say in the middle of the night when he wakes for his much loved bottle?

people that married people that had kids doesn't want to be a part of thier life? Did they think the kids would just go away?
Didn't they ever consider that the kids might come to live with them?
I have a step daughter and her life is just as important to me as my own children. Rather she has problems or is perfect this is my husbands child and truly our problem as well as her "real " moms problems.
She is a good kid, but even if she wasnt it is all our responability becasue she is a child.

I first started my period June4-June8. Then I had sex on a Monday 2 days after my period. 4 days later on a Thursday I spotted. I didn't think anything of it though.
