I realize that some of you know English as a second language--so this doesn't apply to you.

However, it seems to me, that anyone capable of becoming pregnant, should at least know how to spell the word.

I agree but I'm 18yrs old and do KNOW how to spell pregnant too.

It's very easy :)

But it's not always "teenagers" it's also adults that have spelling difficulties. I'm always getting my mum asking me how to spell things.

You see when you get "older" and don't write as much as you used to, on depending what job you have, you forget English pronounciation to spelling the word.

English is my first language but then I have problems speaking English from living in Spain where Spanish is my 2nd language.

I agree but I don't understand how people are so hung up on spelling and grammar. Honestly I don't get people who cannot tolerate short hand and typos. It's great that english is your one and only skill but there is so much more out there than that.

The lack of knowledge on this site is very scary. It's a direct result of abstinence only education.

Call your Congressman and ask him to support comprehensive sexual education in schools.

While I agree that some people are just bad spellers, sometimes it is just a typo.
