My son is 4 months old and I put him in the recommended back to sleep position. During the day he likes to sleep on his side. He has been becoming restless at night on his back and has been trying to get on his side I think he is more comfortable in that position. Once he's on his side he sometimes rolls onto his belly. I know there is an increased risk SIDS with belly sleeping. What should I do? Should I prop him on his side using a rolled up blanket or buy a sleep positioner or will he roll right over them? Any suggestions

i have been with this girl for over a year. she has 2 kids. ages 4 and 1 (not mines). she was pregnant before we even met. she just didn't know it. the problem is that since its hot in the bedroom she lets the 4 year old sleep with us. anyways it is too hot to be sleeping with 3 people. so i just sleep on the living room couch. she says that her kids come b4 anyone and that she decides when and where they will sleep. i told her that if i am the man you want to be with and help raise the kids then my feelings should be considered and my opinion counts for something. i hate this because i love her and want to be with her. she told me that when we get them a bed then they will sleep in it. the 4 year old has a toddler bed but his cousins and him jump on it so much that it is messed up. i feel like the kids should be in their own room (especially the 4 year old) and that if i go into the living room to sleep then she should come and check on me. why have a man if kids r in bed with you

My son is 7 months old and I just got my period back the day before yesterday. He is exclusively breastfed still, doesn't sleep throught the night (he wakes up once sometimes twice)... I thought periods didn't come back either until the baby slept for several hours straight or started solids!

When did you get your period back, and was your baby breastfeeding/sleeping through/on solids?

Also, I'm wondering if I automatically start ovulating or if I could be having periods without ovulation? I started tracking my temperature this morning, but I'm not really sure on how to do this... If anyone has information on how to track the basal temperature to detect ovulation, or knows where I can find this information, please share. Thank so much!

I was reading a few articles of parents not vaccinating their children because they believe that it's wrong or can do more harm than good. Anyway, it was very intresting but I thought that there was no choice. That you had to get your children vaccinated. And how would they go to school don't you need shot records to enroll them in school. I vaccinate my kids but I was just curious.

My son's name is Kolby Richard. My daughter's is Bailey Corinne. If we have another boy it would be Dawson James. If we have another girl, I want to have Adelyn (combination of it's grandma's middle names Adel and Lynn). So, I need either a first or middle name to go with it. I guess I'd prefer to use it as a middle name. Any ideas? I don't want the other name to start with a P, W, N, L, B, C, A, K, or R if possible, unless its too cute to pass up! and you become pregnant ( accidentally) what is the best way to tell her that you are pregnant. I know that she will probaly smile and say how happy she is, then go home and cry for days ( that's what she did when another friend got pregnant)
She will find out eventually, so how do you handle this situation?

Im having trouble discipling my boy, he is 3 years old going on 4 and he is out of control. He was crying talking back telling me what he did and did not want to do, all i wanted was for him to take a nap. This was not happening a few weeks ago. Because i went to my first appt today and he didnt hear no heart beat and did an ultrasound and saw a bag which is good but we didnt see much. could that be because i probly im only like 5 or 6 weeks. i also peed before i went. they say not to but they wanted a sample. what do you guys think. i got a blood test so they can check my hormonal system and i go back in two weeks to see if the baby is developing right. what do you think????
