My husband and I have been trying to conceive our first child for 2 years now. We have an appointment with the doctor in July. I've found that coming up with baby names (for future reference) helps me to relax and stop stressing about it.

I recently became pregnant and I was wondering what are the must haves like diapers and clothes and such. I am very poor and still have to pay for my schooling. Is it safe for the baby to sleep with me when it is born. It is a california king size bed if that makes a difference. I'm really stressed out. Please help me.

My wife and I are expecting a baby boy in Oct. We have heard a few couples tell us there child is terrible and that when the wives were pregnant the baby would move, and toss and was crazy. So far our baby moves very little. Could this be that he might be laid back? Just wondering from others with real experience.

Okay I am 16 yrs. old and I am 21 weeks pregnant. I was raped in January by a guy whose name I do not know, nor did I know him so how can I possibly turn him in when I don't even know where he is..who he is..or what he looks like? I have always been too afraid to tell my parents so even they don't know that I was raped or that I am pregnant from it. I want to tell them, but I know that they will me very mad and hurt me. I haven't gone to the hospital since I was raped either, because again I am SCARED to death to know whats really going on. I am out of school already and in college but I don't have enough money to go to the doctor over something probably not needing medical care anyways. Does anyone have any advice on what to do or how to tell my parents? I want the easiest way out!

my son used to drink 5 oz every 3 hours.
For a month now, he's been fussing after 2-3 oz.. can NEVER finish his bottle without crying.. The doc. said there is no medical reason for it.. we have tried diff. bottles and formula and he does same thing with every single one. its not the nipple... it's not burping... Has anyone else had this problem? i get very upset, b/c i cannot help him.. i can't even figure out whats wrong...

he's 3 month old.. he plays great, always happy and sleeps relatively good.. Only during feeding, is when something's wrong.. He;s on soy formula..

my daughter is not good eater.especially she doesnt like to eat anything in the morning. i have tried lots of things like scrumbled egg, bread with peanut butter, cereal but she doesnt eat. then i give her vanilla milkshake she just likes that. but she doesnt like any solid food.any suggestion plz.

My son, who just turned 6 last week, just finished Kindergarten and is attending summer camp. He was one of the youngest in his class at school and is now the youngest in his camp, which the director keeps raising issues about. My concern is 1) It's summer camp, not school; it's supposed to be fun, not stressful. 2) He is socially immature compared to the other kids which apparently is a concern for the camp director. She says he doesn't have much interest in participating in sport activities. I told her he is one who would much rather sit down and write, draw or color than play. He's very intellegent and this is how he prefers to spend most of his time. I don't think that means he's immature, but maybe I'm wrong. Does anybody else struggle with similar issues?

there were wet spots on my underware, after holding some tp under me, it got fairly moist in a few seconds. if my water bag has a small leak will it be very noticable? is it safe to use an ob tampon for a little while? if not how can i know for sure. (i sweat a lot, im big and prego)

I am a 14 year old babysitter who has been babysitting for 3 years now. I live in Southern California. My going rate used to be $5 an hour for one kid and 3 more dollars for each additional kid. But ALL of my jobs right now are only for one kid, so i was planning on raising it a dollar or two. Possibly from $5 to $6 or $7. Am I on the right track?

I have a 12 yearold daughter that has been having some issues that I don't know where to go next. She is very tall, and developed for her age, she looks more like 16 - 5'5" 130lbs. She started her period when she was 10. She has continually wet the bed and we have had some success with the nasal spray DDVHP I think. At night she wears pullups to catch the wetness - and she is supposed to clean herself up. We have struggled with her to manage her hygiene issues, even had her on the Depo shot to stop her period because she would leave blood everywhere, leave used pads out on floor, etc. Very unhealthy behavior. She just doesn't seem to "get" it. She does not clean up after herself unless I am continually on her and that is difficult to do. She will leave her soiled pullups, clothes, blankets in the floor, put them in her dresser of clean clothes and worse. The latest is that she has wet herself in the car while waiting for me to run into the post office (5 minutes!) because she really had to go, she said. So she folded up her sweater and wet herself. I was not aware as she had the windows down- it was a warm day and was listening to music. So we get home and she is wearing the sweater and I was speechless when I found out. I cannot fathom this behavior, I have 6 other children and never had these issues to deal with and don't know where to turn.
She is also failing in school. Mainly because she doesn't do it or turn in her work. The teachers all encourage her, can see that she may need help so lessen her load, but she is in junior high and does not qualify by the state standards for help. I have tried to help her with her work but she doesn't seem to understand it.

i let my two kids go to there grandmothers house this weekend. i dont ever get a brake but she wants them this weekend and i dont know what to do. I dont want people to think that i am a bad mom just because i need a brake. should i let them go or not?
