That varies between churches. You should probably ask the person who will be baptizing him.

Is he the one being baptised? Your Church will tell you what is appropriate as far as color & how much skin is allowed to show (bare legs, arms) and it make a difference how he is going to be - if immersed or sprinkled :) as to how to dress him.
If he is attending a baptism, just have him wear whatever he would wear for a sunday best.

If its a catholic baptism,she should wear the traditional white,poofy,above the knees dress with a bonnet,lace socks and white shoes.under the dress she should wear her white under shirt with a cloth diaper and rubber pants.when she makes her first communion,she should wear the diaper and rubberpants under her communion dress as well with or without tights.

I don't think there is a dress code for any child who is getting baptised. My son was 1 when I had him baptised. He wore dark grey trousers, a white shirt and a brocade vest (black and gold). He look fantastic and the priest thought so as well.

My son worn all white, put on a nice white suit or white pants, shirt and vest with a little white bow tie he will look very adorable.

depends on if she is going to the baptism or being baptised. i agree with the other poster, ask someone at that church!

my son was baptized at 7 he wore a white collar shirt and kaki pants. im sure there not gonna say anything if he isnt dressed the way they like. God will still accept him.

my son tyler is 4 and ahalf years old and i had him baptiszed last week. he wore a dark navy sailor suit and it was perfectly acceptable.

Ask the church, in my church you wear all white.
