There are a few things you can do. Some exercises that have been said to help start labor are squats, swimming, climbing stairs, and walking.
Nipple stimulation — either manually or with a breast pump — may release the hormone oxytocin, which can lead to contractions. But exercise caution. Sometimes nipple stimulation can lead to excessive, potentially dangerous contractions.
Other techniques — such as having sex or eating pineapple or spicy food — aren't backed by scientific evidence. If you want to try a certain food, go for it. Sex is OK, too, as long as your water hasn't broken. But get your health care provider's OK before trying any other home remedies, herbal supplements or alternative treatments for inducing labor.

For me, nothing worked. Walking I think would be the best. Lots of people tell me it worked for them, the bumpy road idea worked for some too but it could have jst been timing. ALL three of my kids were late, 12 days, 8 days and 8 days and nothing helped me. With my first they scheduled an induce date and she was born 12 hrs almost exactly (appt 930 am tue, born 934 pm mon) so maybe try having them schedule a date, lol.

The most natural; way is Io let the baby come when he is ready. If you speed up delivery for your own convenience you may be depriving baby of his last few days growth and development. This is usually the lungs so by artificially inducing you could be giving him a life of asthma or some other problem. Be patient is my advice.

Just be patient. My daughter was a week late. Walking is always good, but the best thing to do is just let nature take it's course unless your Dr. advises otherwise.

When I attended massage therapy school, we were told to never rub a pregnant woman's ankles b/c that could induce labor.

I don't know how true it is since no one ever tested it, but have someone massage your ankles. The worse that could happen is your ankles feel good.
