Breast milk is good for not only babies, but adults too. It does not offer any nutritional value, but it does provide many health benefits. It has all the immunities that the mother has, and they are passed through to the reciepient. Also, this may sound weird, but if you take right from the breast, and you have an illness that the mother has not had, the illness passes through saliva to the mother's nipples and her body then forms a high concentration of the antibodies to fight it. Benefiting the reciever, and not hurting the mother, just giving her more immunities. It can also be applied topicly to help heal minor infections, eye irritations, and even the common cold (drop a few drops in each nostral). So yes, it is safe to drink, and even can be helpfull.

I never found it wrong. I have a sucked a lot of my wife's milk when she was lactating for our 2 kids. In fact, she had so much milk that unless I sucked, she would suffer from pain. This probably happened because I liked the milk and she liked to get her nipples sucked. And the flow of milk kept on increasing & went on up to 11 months after each pregnancy. Neither me nor my wife had any health problems. And because of very copious lactation, she recovered her figure quite quickly. On the lighter side, I may confess that not only me, but 2 of my friends used to suck her milk regularly. I could not drink it all alone. She was in need of 5 to 6 sucking sessions over and above what the baby could drink. My friends obviously liked the exercise very much and have also not suffered any harm.

I personaly don't know about the medical aspects but I can tell oyu I know a few different people who do this, and they do it because they actually like the taste not to be sick and gross.
As far as I know it wouldn't be harmful to you since babies drink it and get all their nurishment.
As far as being "right" In my personal opinion I would say It's your wife, and your body so if the two of you don't mind, then why not?

It is legal, if your wife agrees. I have known men to assist there wives remove milk from their engorged breasts. I am of the opinion that if it is between consenting adults and no one is being harmed than go for it. I wonder what it tastes like....I guess I will have to wait until I have a child :-)
For the cow comment that a responder made...give that a little thought. I cow is a different species.

Truely it won't harm you. If it would why would doctors prefer it over formula for a baby. It has everything a baby needs. Now being an adult you don't need those same things so don't be greedy if theres a baby involved...Let the little guy have his nourishment...

Drink women’s milk In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Q-1: Is it allowed in Islam to drink any womens milk? It is indeed permissible in Shariah for an infant to drink the milk of any woman; and the suck of an infant will develop a lasting foster and ‘mehram’ relationship with that woman. Al-Muwatta Hadith 30.4 Yahya related from Malik from Thawr ibn Zayd ad-Dili that Abdullah ibn Abbas (r.a.) said, "The milk which a child under two years old sucks, even if it is only one suck, makes the foster relatives ‘haram’ (sacred)." Q-2: Can husband drink his wife`s milk? If the husband happens to taste the milk from his wife’s breast accidentally or voluntary, there is absolutely no harm and does not effect their ‘nikaah’ or marital relationship in the least. Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.815 Narrated by Aisha Once the Prophet (saws) came to me while a man was in my house. He (saws) said, "O 'Aisha! Who is this (man)?" I replied, "My foster brother." He (saws) said, "O 'Aisha! Be sure about your foster brothers, as fostership is only valid if it takes place in the suckling period (before two years of age)." Q-3: If somebody drinks it by mistake what is the fatwah on it? In light of the above clear guidance of the Messenger of Allah (saws), the consumption of a women’s milk will only bring into effect foster-relationships if the suckling baby is in the suckling period, which is unanimously accepted in Islam as being under two years of age. Thus the majority of the good scholars in Islam are of the opinion that if an adult accidentally happens to taste the milk of a woman, it does not develop a foster or ‘mehram’ relationship with that woman.

if your wife allows you to be comfortable with it. My husband was curious of the taste. It really depends of the comfort level between you and your wife. Just ask her, being that she is your wife she'll still love you in the morning. so dont be embarrassed just laugh later

Been there. But, I didn't "share" mine until AFTER the baby was done nursing. My husband actually 'stumbled upon' it 'by accident' a couple montths AFTER I'd stopped nursing the baby. He actually wanted me to start pumping to keep it going! I told him that it was up to him to keep up 'his' supply...the more he sucked the more he'd get. Needless to say, my breasts are getting more attention from him then they have ever had before! Fine with me!!!
