The thing about causing problems with the baby isnt true, but a womans skin does become more sensitive and irritable during pregnancy. Id do a patch test first (even if youve used the product before)
You dont want to be comming out with a blotchy face do you?

That person is ridiculous. It's mud. That being said, make sure it's not straight out of some garden - cat feces are dangerous to the fetus.
When you're first pregnant, you're pretty much afraid of everything harming the baby. The only things you have to worry about touching your skin are chemical products (not including soaps and most hair products - not dyes). Otherwise, only be concerned with what you intentionally and unintentionally ingest.

You do need to be careful with OTC products... look at the girl who died because she was using too much bengay. Most of it is probably okay, but run it by your doctor first. Have the bottle(s) of what you want to use handy so you can read off the ingredients. Better safe than sorry. Good luck!

It is perfectly safe to use. The only problem is that your skin tends to change and some things may irritate now where in the past it didn't. If you try it and it doesn't bother your skin then you will be fine.

I would think it was safe unless the label said something specific... If you are that worried use organice/natural ingredients like avacado, oatmeal, eggs... I've even heard of unsweetened cocoa as a face mask... Make your own...

just as long as it doesnt have to many chemicals you should be fine. I've read that you can't relax your hair while pregnant but I used an organic relaxer and my daughter came out just fine. She a little nutty like her father but none the less healthy. You should be fine but if you still feel uncomfortable then call your obgy office for extra comfirmation

Yes you can use these things. My husband bought me a few facials when I was pregnant, it was a great way to relax, and my son was born perfectly healthy 9lbs 6 oz! And two weeks late! Dont let people scare you out of getting your me time just because your pregnant!
Good Luck!
