Pregnancy & Parenting - 19 June 2007

I am 14.5 weeks and my tailbone is killing me. Sitting anywhere besides our sofa and my car makes it excruciating to get up. Is it too early to have this type of discomfort? My doctor says that its normal because everything is shifting around, but gosh - I have 6 more months to go. Any suggestions?

and babys size b/c he thought baby was too small, but everything has been coming back normal. I went yesterday and he said my uterus hasn't grown much and he is worried about baby not getting enough nutrition..so he said we will wait until ultrasound on thurs. and see how much baby weighs..if too small then will schedule induction..last time weighed baby at 35 weeks, baby was 5 lbs.. for some reason i dont trust doc.. what do u think?

I have two younger girls 10 and 2 . My son at age 11 died last year on fathers day , four months before his birthday , I still get depressed , he was mommies little boy and the girls are daddy's little girls . I feel left out now . they don't treat me bad I just miss that bond my son and I had.

Keep 'em comin! I chose Starr for a middle name because it's my mom's, sister's, and niece's middle name and I want to keep it going--even if it sounds kinda cheesy, lol.

I like the name Gage too, but idk if I'd make it a first or middle name and what would go with it.

Is Magnesium Citrate as effective as castor oil in inducing labor? I am 39 weeks pregnant and in horrible pain with my feet and back. I know all about the 'a baby will come when he's ready' opinions, but at this point have reached my breaking point with the back pain and with my feet swelling and barely able to walk on them. A pharmacist told me that between the two, castor oil and magnesium citrate, the magnesium would be more effective. I took a couple tablespoons full 3 hours ago and feel nothing!!

My fiance' and I have been trying for a baby for just over a week now but I think I might already be pregnant. My question is...how do you feel initially. I've been having headaches, I'm tired, and I've been having strange pains in my tummy. The pains aren't quite like cramps but are still uncomfortable. I've heard that could be because when you first get pregnant your uterous contracts in preparation for a growing baby. I'm now 5 days late. I did take a pregnancy test on Sun. but it was negative. After talking to a friend I found out that the test could be wrong right now. When she had her baby she had two test read negative before the she finally got a positive.
So based on this information...what do you think the chances are that I am pregnant now?

I`ll be 14 weeks tomorrow, the baby is actually about 3 days bigger then his age.. =]].. I had my integrated ultrasound on friday and the doctor asked if i wanted to know what he thought the baby was. He said, that he is almost 100% sure it is a boy, I`ve read you can tell this early with the right equiptment.. but I`m not sure if I should believe it yet. I asked about how girls usually stick out that early also, he said "yes they do, but not like this.." I know I saw two little balls and a little peepee sorry if thats TMI..lol. I had a feeling since I found out I was pregnant that it would be a boy...anyone else been told this early?

Okay, so everyone who knows enough to post a questions knows that the only person that can answer this question is the person that may in fact be pregnant.. And not by using a computer, either, because as of yet, technology today has not advanced enough that computers can do this!

But!

Is it just me, or do these people also not need a smart-@$$ reply, either? "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all!" Aren't you supposed to answer their questions? If you leave a reply aren't you supposed to reply to their questions.. Not to some question you have pulled out of your butt.... They did not ask "What is a rude response to......am i pregnant?".. They asked if they are or are not pregnant.. Which would go to without say so [written or otherwise] that what these people need to hear is uplifting words of advise or information.. Not your cheaky lip.

My boyfriend and I were together 4 days ago and his condom broke. I’m still about a week and a half from expecting my period (ovulating!). Yesterday, a store test was blue (positive!) My cousin’s wife is a nurse and said she will do the blood pregnancy test some time next week to give it time to run its course. What are the chances of that store test being a false positive so soon after intercourse?

I had an apointment the other day and I was 20 weeks 1 day, I know that you can find out what it is at week 20 and she said if I wait ill have beautiful pictures. She orignally had it at 24 weeks and now its at 25 weeks!! maybe im just being too impatient

My next appointment isnt until July 19th...my family and my bf's family keep buggin me about "when can u find out?" and "why so late"? Im getting kind of annoyed at being asked what im having by every single family member!

ok, i am 9 months pregnant. well i have 2 weeks until my due date. i am still with the father, but he made a stupid mistake and he is in jail. i dont know what is going to happen bc he has been in trouble before(before we got together) i dont know what to do about my baby's last name. he wants her to have his, but i dont know how long he will be gone and i dont want people to think bad of me and my daughter. we have done nothing wrong and i have never even been in trouble before. if i were to hyphenate her last name, would we be able to change it later, like if things do or dont work out with me and her father? and if it is hyphenated, will i have to write both names on everything? im just not sure how this works. please dont judge me. thank you so much for any advice you have. and im sorry this was so long.
