i know you baby is supposed to sleep on his back . But i have a 5 1/2 month old son who doesn't like to sleep on his back . he'll roll over to his stomach , he sleeps longer at night on his stomach. He can roll over both ways . so what should i do . leave him on this stomach or turn him over?

I think that it is a good nick name for the name Jenna. I don't like the nicknames Jen or Jenny because then everybody would think that Jenna's name is Jennifer. And it annoys me. I know someone named Jenna and she tells me that everyone thinks that her name really is Jennifer. And the name Enna isn't even ever used (I've only heard it as a name once and it was someon'e name is the 1800's). And what is good middle name for Jenna that starts with an L (besides Laurn, Lee, or Lynn).

My former sitter gave my son a cookie about 2 months ago and he swelled up like a balloon. I was not sure what caused his swelling. Then he has had pasta and got hives and then tonight my husband gave him a few bits of his cookie and he got hives again. Could this be something he will grow out of or is this an alergi he may have to live with for every.

My husband's name is Joe, it's not his nickname, his mom named him Joe! Anyways, if we ever have a girl, I'd like a name that starts with Joe, not Jo.
Any suggestions?

These people do nothing but get pregnant, have a kid, get pregnant again have another kid and have the nerve to be excited about it when they can't afford to have the kid or kids. Are these people bored or something? I notice the only thing these people do anymore is have kids and do drugs when they're not (and sometimes when they are) pregnant. Has no one heard of birth control? Are they just bored? Now, I am not saying that all people do this, I have just seen an overwhelming majority in my small town and others throughout the midwest. I am not passing judgement on anyone, I just don't understand it.

I think it is very messed up how the government has all this money for the war and all this money to spend on other unnecessary things, but women who can never get child support have no alternatives. The social security administration gives checks to parents whose child/children have ADHD and children whose parent have passed away but not to the children whose parents are never going to leave the prison system or if they do it will be to death.

im 31 weeks pregnant with a history of pre-eclampsia and for the past 27 hours or so i have been having persistant headaches and sore eyes,and sometimes blurry vision and spots in front of my eyes,does it sound like im getting PE again?
what do you think?
at 28 weeks i took myself to the ER for blurry vision,but got sent home few hours later as they found i was fine,but since then i feel im getting worse.i'll go and see the doc soon but just wondering what u guys thought.

I just came home from the doctors.. I am 35 weeks 4 days pregnant.. I went into pre-term labor at 32 weeks and have been on bed rest and tribuliin(?) I am now almost dialated to 4 and 75% effaced. The doctor mentioned that my water might break in the next week or two..

This is my 3rd preganancy but both of my other two I had the water broke in the hospital after I was in labor to progress things along.

I am wondering what it is like when your water breaks on it's own.. I would really love to hear from women on when this happened and what it was like for them. Thank you!!

Her kindergarten teacher has informed us that she should jump to 2nd grade and has approval from others of that move which is a totally overwhelming and satisfying. But is it worth it psychologically for a child? Will she be able to interact with the older kids?

Has anyone dealt with this situation?

Not to be mean or rude, but since my husband and I have been doing everything by the book for nearly a year and still haven't been successful conceiving...it's hard to be happy for people who ARE pregnant. A friend of mine has 3 small kids, ages 4, 2, and 10 months, she is a single mother and although the father supports the kids and is active in their life, she still struggles to take care of them. Here is her problem, she is getting state subsidized childcare for the kids, she works first shift from 8am to 4pm at a mail center. She makes a decent salary, but it is not enough to get off the subsidized childcare. She was very upset yesterday when she went to get the kids and walked in on the teacher yelling out the 4 year old to put away a toy he kept demanding to have. She has never had a problem before with the teacher, but she is also convinced this is not the first time the child has been yelled at by this woman. She wants to switch day cares, but most of the daycares have huge waiting lists and she has thye choice to either pull the kids out and tough it out with no babysitter, or keep the kids in daycare and wait until an opening comes up elsewhere.She's voiced this to the worker.
