As long as the doctor correctly tied your Fallopian tubes right without any complications, than you have less than 0.01% chance of getting pregnant. When in doubt, use contraceptives. Hope this Helps! :)

very low, but still a chance.
I had my 5th baby (and tubes tied) 6 months ago, and I'm fully breastfeeding. I havent had a period yet, and have wondered many times if I am pregnant. (took a test 2 days ago which was negative) with ALL my other babies I got my period immeditately afterwards and very regularily from then on so its very unusual for me not to have my period yet.
but each pregnancy and birth etc is different so for me, Its obvioulsy just my body so Im trying to enjoy the no period thing!!
I have googled this, and it IS possible to get pregnant after your tubes are tied, but its very rare, the only chance of you getting pregnant this soon after is if they havent clamped/tied them properly. the risk is higher about 7-10 years after a tubal as the body can "heal" itself and the tubes can grow around the clamp and fertility can return. (but as I said that can take up to 10 years to happen IF it ever does.)
of course many women can get pregnant while breastfeeding.
The two of them together how ever, breastfeeding AND your tubes tied, means youre really really really quite safe, it would be quite a miracle baby if you were to fall pregnant under such circumstances.
Goodluck!

I have been given my tubes tied whilst i grew to become into approximately 35. the particularly surgical technique takes approximately 10 minutes in case you're asleep. They make a small incision on your abdomen button and yet another in simple terms above your pubic hair line. The restoration time is a few hours interior the well-being middle after which you could need to place on the settee for a pair of days. you'll be sore for a week or so yet for me it grew to become into worth it to no longer worry approximately getting pregnant. i'm not sure what your buddy meant by utilising risky. I did initiate having some hormone issues after that yet have no concept if the two events have been appropriate. That grew to become into 12 years in the past and that i'm great and not have been given pregnant. lots lots greater appropriate than polluting your physique with hormones. There are hazards with ANY surgical technique because of the anesthetic and attainable infections.

breast feeding won't stop you from getting pregnant, and birth control don't neccisarraly stop it either. But if your tubes are tied you have a very high chance of not getting pregnant. I have only heard of one case where tubes were tied and she got preg. Don't count on condoms or birth control. My son is proof for those not working, even in combination. I have a friend who got twins with condoms during sex while she was preg.
Best bet no sex, unless you want to get preg.

1 in 300 tubals fails. So, generally, you can assume that you won't get pregnant, but if you ever suspect that you are, do some pregnancy tests just to be sure. 60% of pregnancies after a tubal are ectopic, so that's why I said that. Current tubals are less prone to failure due to cauterization, but some women have very determined tubes.

Pretty slim. However six years after my tubal ligation I became pregnant in my tube, it burst, I bled internally , had to have MAJOR surgery and almost died.
