I recently had relations with a woman who is in her mid to late 30's. I made a huge mistake and gave in a little. She says she had her last period one week ago so she could not get pregnant and we engaged in unprotected intercourse for only a few seconds before I got nervous and discontinued. We had been doing other things before the actual intercourse. What are the chances she could be pregnant. I know I made a huge mistake and I am just very worried. Thanks for the help.

Ok well here i go again, getting myself all wigged out, when i know the best bet is to get a pregnancy test. However i must ask opinions!!! LOL...well i started the birth control pill seasonique about a month and a half ago, and i bled the first month and 1st week non stop but not overly heavy. I asked my doctor if i should worry, and they said it sounded normal for this type of pill. So, i finally stopped bleeding and since i stopped bleeding i have had other symptms...
Pregnancy??? OR... Just Hormonal change from the pill???
I have been slightly dizzy....a bit nauseated....not overwhelming though....very hungry (even feel dizzy when i dont eat right away like i did with my 1st pregnancy) ... and as of yesterday i have had some extra (TMI) white discharge, with a slight sweet smell (does not stink just sweet in a way)
my bf and i just moved 3 weeks ago and during that time i was misising pills so i had to double up on them..plus we were intimate daily during that time.

I went through the Glucose test and my doctor just called to tell me that my sugar level is at 160 and she would like me to go for a 3 hour test this time. I want to know how many women had gestational diabetes and is it really dangerous for the baby. I have been craving alot of sweets, fruits and fruit juices but now I'm scared to consume any of that. Any suggestions or alternatives to help calm my cravings and still not elevate my diabetes?

I am nursing with no period yet, so I have no idea when to test. I am feeling sick and tired and hungry more. I know what pregnancy feels like because I have had 4 already. I always took test with my other ones, and when it was negitive it was negitive and when positve came up, I could defently see it. But now I have a pregnancy test that has a whiteish line. Does that mean pregnancy? Never seen that before. Also, if I have pregnancy symptoms, don't you think I would get a good dark line on the test? Thanks for your help!

i am 18 and 6 weeks pregnant, i am really happy about the pregnancy and so is my boyfriend. He has a secure full time job which pays well and im going to do one of them open uni courses from home. I'm not particularly bothered about the answer to this question, just more curious. As an 18 year old - 19 by the time my baby is due, will society in general see me as being too young to have a family of my own? there are 14 and 15 yr olds out there who are having unwanted pregnancys so im sure as a 19 year old mum, who wants her baby very much.. will society accept me?

I'll be 36 weeks this Thursday. I've had Braxton Hicks of course but last night I awoke to cramps that hurt pretty bad. They went away after a few minutes and have been coming and going sporadiacally.

What does this mean? Is it early signs of labor perhaps signalling that I could have her in about 2 weeks?

I suppose I'm very anxious and am hoping she will come around 37 or 38 weeks. Also, my nesting instinct has kicked in and I'm totally stressing about getting my house cleaned up.

So anyway, yesterday i asked about mongomery bumps. I had noticed that when i took my shirt off, their were dark circular spots, like 7 or 8 of them on my areola. So i was confused and when i touched them they werent bumps like pimples, but they werent flat either. They were slightly raised...So i never noticed them before and i asked my fiance to look at them, and he said he never saw them before..

The part im confused on is that from the information i read, and pictures i see, that they are white, and pimple like...But mine are slightly raised. And they are dark brown. Im trinidad/dominican, so im assuming its because im brown skinned.... Does that sound like what they could be...?? All information is kindly appreciated..

THANKS IN ADVANCE, AND LOTS OF BABY DUST TO EVERYONE

I went to wake up my sons Ethan (5) and Aidan (4) for school just a little bit ago, and when I went to Ethan's room he wasn't there. I was shocked because it's early in the morning and he's never up that early unless I wake him. I went down stairs assuming he was down there playing or something and he wasn't and I panicked. I looked everywhere until I found him sitting on our tire swing in our backyard. He was crying (he hardly ever cries). I started to approach him (I could hear him crying but he was turned away so I couldn't see him). When I stepped in front of him I saw that he had a horrible black eye and a busted lip. I asked him what happened he told me a 13 year old boy Devon down the street beat him up because he wouldnt give him money.

I called the police an I'm going down there to file a report (my husband took him to the hospital for stitches). Then my husband and I decided to take our kids to a hotel to get away from the neighborhood. Am I doing whats right?

I use these pregnancy tests that say they can tell you 6-8 days after conception, and for my first pregnancy they did tell me 6 days after conception (8 days before my period was due) with a very faint positive. Well last night was 8 days after I ovulated (6 days before my period is due), and I got a negative. Has anyone else had this happen and yet still be pregnant. I'm feeling a little bummed.

For the past two weeks, I have been waking up around 3:30 4am, EVERY night. First, i knew it was caused to the pain i was experiencing in my "breasts", but now, its for no reason, not because i have to go to the bathroom, not because of heartburn, nothing, just random. Is it my hormones? I'm only 5 weeks prego. It's very difficult because I'm exhausted when I get home from work, so i go to bed around 9pm, you think it could be i'm getting enough sleep?

i mean think about it. most parents want to teach there kids to share and be nice but a parent would say " your the best" or your the cutest". i've even read some profiles to some parents say "parent of the cutest kid in the world" or something close to that. so how is a kid supposed to realize he/she is no more important than any other kid if they are told they are the cutest or or the best, etc etc etc...............

my nephew is 8 years old. he is autistic with speech and learning problems. he is able to communicate and understands when spoke to on a level that is suitable for him.

lately he has had a swelling around his privates, my sister noticed when changing him - he is night time incontinent. it was just above and around his penis. he says its not sore when pressed etc and has not complained of any pain urinating etc. the swelling has been coming and going - its not there all the time.

she took him to the drs and it was not swollen when the dr examined him, the dr said said he could not find anything wrong and while pressing where it was swollen my nephew just laughed and said it tickled.

anyone have any idea about this or know of someone who had it?

serious answers only please. thanks.

I've read often on here... and it makes sense to me, that when a newborn cries he or she should be comforted.

I'm curious as to what people think is the proper age to be left alone to comfort themselves. And if not an age... then what are some of the signs that they are ready to sleep through the night, even if they don't want to. I know all babies are different. When is the "let the baby cry it out" technique appropriate?

Just looking for persoanl opinions here. Thanks.
