I use these pregnancy tests that say they can tell you 6-8 days after conception, and for my first pregnancy they did tell me 6 days after conception (8 days before my period was due) with a very faint positive. Well last night was 8 days after I ovulated (6 days before my period is due), and I got a negative. Has anyone else had this happen and yet still be pregnant. I'm feeling a little bummed.

Early pregnancy test work, but only for like 25% of peple. The percentage of havin a false negative 4 days before a missed period is like 89% than it goes down gradually, and the day of your missed period is only a 4% chance. so just wait a couple days

Yes, it's too early to test. Even the early pregnancy tests would not detect if you are pregnant (for most women). Most will not work until about 14-18 dpo. If you feel you can't wait, call your doctor and have a blood test.

I think your result can go either way at this point. Since it is early maybe your body hasn't produced enought Hcg yet. Give it a day or two and retest to get an accurate result
