alright I have a 6 1/2 month old daughter who is crawling, standing walks while holding on to things and now says daddy, mama and bye bye. Is this typical for her age?

So i have my first appointment in a couple days.. on the 21st. I was just wondering what exactly do they do during the first visit.. Will they take blood? I have a big fear of needles but i already know i'll have to get over that one fast and get used to it. Also, is there anything i can do about morning sickness. Crackers arent helping and at work i just feel horrible. i have a bag just ready because i dont feel like i'll make it to the bathroom!

My 4 month old refuses to sleep on his back, he can roll over really well and in the middle of the night he rolls to his stomach then he starts crying. How do I stop him from rolling over so I finally get some sleep.

when i went to the toilet i noticed in the bottom there was a stringy jelly like blob with streaks of blood is this my mucus plug? and does this mean the baby is on its way? should i be worried?

he had a lot of baby acne up until about a month ago and it comes back if i use lotions so i have to use vaseline to keep his face moisturized and it doesn't irritate his skin.

I am three days late on my period. I took a test the day of my missed period, but it was negative (i'm guessing that my hormone level may not have been high enough.)
I have a smaller appetite lately, and after I eat, I feel kind of queasy. Also, I have increased discharge...more than usual. I had sex around the the thirteenthish day of my cycle and he did not ejaculate.. Yes, I am aware of pre-ejaculate and all of its possible swimmers, so please don't lecture on that.
I can sleep all day if i had the time. i go to work and come home and sleep.

can someone tell me what they think about this?
also, can you ladies explain when you got symptoms or anything like that (if you did get symptoms) thanks ladies.

I am going to be 36 this year. Have successful career, nice flat and independant lifestyle. I have vaguely thought that I wouldn't want to miss out on having children but I don't feel I have ever been in the right situation - i.e. married or in stable relationship with solvent willing man. I have recently been dating a much younger man ( 27) who I have fallen in love with and him likewise. Everything was going great for first couple of months until I found myself pregnant. Totally unplanned. At first I was sort of thrilled, then terrified and then overwhelmingly confused. When I told my partner, who is about to go back to University he made he clear he WASN'T ready to be father and didn't have any money. He will be desperately unhappy if I go ahead with preg. I don't feel I have a right to force him into fatherhood. I care about his feelings and life. With reluctance I'm 3 days away from an abortion. It seems the only answer..but I feel devastated. Need opinions...please help

My wife is expecting our 3rd baby in under a week but she is becoming more and more depressed as it gets closer to the birth. We have lost 2 darling daughters previous to this pregnancy and as it was late on in pregnancy my wife had to give birth to them and this is now causing her alot of distress and anxiety. We did ask for a c-section with this baby but it has been refused as they say medically there is no reason for it as baby is healthy and happy but surely my wifes feeling should be considered to? Both my wife and I are concerned about how she will bond with our son as she still so desperately wants our baby daughters here. We have set up memorials for both our angels and my wifes daughter chloe , but I was thinking about making a memorial in our garden at home for them to help my wife with her grief as she feels so guilty about having another baby and worries that others might think she is trying to replace our/her other children. Any suggestions as to what I can do please?

I got one shot about 15 weeks ago, and have decided along with my husband that I should not renew it in hopes of conceiving. I've read on several webpages that it could take between 6 - 18 months for the body to return to its normal cycle. Has anyone experienced getting pregnant before this timeframe? :-)

My 2 month old daughter is pretty dependent on her binki. There is a few times a week that she will sleep well without one, but other times she'll need one, and if it falls out of her mouth she starts crying and we have to keep on putting it back in many times throughout the night! Is there anything I could do to help her sleep better without it? or any techniques to keep it in her mouth!?

I have been regular like clock work on my periods for 12years, in the summer last year i started taking my pills back to back (two packs at a time) i was due on approx 2-3weeks ago and it didn't show!! i have been feeling ill, sick although not actually been sick, extremely emotional, i am usually emotional when due on but not this much and possibly using the toilet more although i do that more than average anyway.i took amoxilicin antibiotics due toa wisdom tooth growing through around the time i was due on. my mum says sometimes this can make your pill non effective. I took a test today but it was negative, just wandered if i took it too early. It was a boots own brand test are they less effective?? pls help.

She calls it her exersizes. She will sit down on a chair and start rocking. She sometimes puts something between he legs. When she is done she will usually do it again 5 min later. She does it alot usually when she is sitting down or bored. We try to keep her ocupied but we can't forever. She says she doesen't do it at school but i dont know if its true. I want her to stop so she doesn't do it when my 12 year old daughter's friends are over or when we have guests. When she is doing it in the TV room i tell her '' remember you need to do that in private" but she will say something like "go somwhere else then" or "i was here first". Any ideas how to make her stop?

Don't worry not trying to induce my own labor or anything. Just wondering. Just have a feeling that this baby is comming very shortly. I'm having really bad stomach cramps and the pressure is almost unbearable. Lot's of mucus, lost my plug like two weeks ago and just had continuous mucus since then. Lost my insurance last week and now just have to wait things out until it's time to go to the hospital. The baby is breach and has been for a long time. Probably c-section. Just was wondering if I do go into labor do you think they will stop it or just let it ride? I've heard that by 35 weeks the lungs are almost fully developed. At my last dr.'s appt at 33 weeks she told me he was around 5.5 pounds and 19 inches long. That would mean he's probably 6 pounds by now since that was two weeks ago. That's a good size right? The baby should be fine. I've heard of women having babied at 32 weeks and the baby only had to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks!

Hi all,
Need a little help with trying to figure out how to either stop or distract my two-year old from his tantrums. Once he starts one it is really hard to get him to calm down, he normally screams for about 20-45 mins before starting to calm down but the smallest things set him off. I can normally see them coming but by that point it is already to late to distact him. I f anyone has any ideas that could help I would appreciate it. Thanks.

when I am up and moving around the pain is not noticeable just when I sit down for more than 5 minutes my joints and lower back starts to really hurt to were I walk around like an old person. Slow ..Also when I lay down I can only stay in a postion for no more than 5 or 10 minutes and then I have to move but very very slowly.
